That would be great! I'll look for a picture of our family. Tell me how to unlayer a picture. I found lots of background pictures with text that I would like to edit and use for our door but I don't know how. Is there a special program I could buy? Thanks for your help!

I don't know how to "unlayer" a picture. I know how to create several layers in Photoshop but once the image is flattened I don't know how (or if you can) unflatten it.

We are also going to be on this cruise. It is our 1st and we are really excited. The 19th is my 50th birthday and the cruise is my gift. My husband Terry 45 and I (Karen). We are from Lynnville, Indiana. It seems most of the families are from the East Coast. Our friends are celebrating with us and they are from Connecticut. I hope we get to meet some of the people on this board.

It's my first cruise too. I'm soooooooo excited. We never thought we could do this but God and Dreams Unlimited and the DIS made it possible so I'm feeling just as blessed as I could possibly be. I'm having so much fun making door decorations and chatting with everyone. Can't wait to meet everyone.

Did you catch that there's going to be a DISsers meet on Saturday. I'm pretty sure it's at 2pm but I can't remember where. I'll have to look back through messages to find out. And (I believe her name is) Conny is getting married on the 21st. And that's my birthday. And it's formal night. I'm looking forward to hanging out in the clubs after dinner that night. It's gonna be like my high school prom again but this time I'm old enough to know myself and enjoy myself and I'm with my actual Prince Charming, not those PC-wannabes that I went to prom with.

I think I'm the most vocal (at least most typing) member of the group that's going to be on this cruise so I hope that doesn't scare you away. I'm really not such a pain... I'm just so excited and I guess I come by my nick honestly.

Okay, I now return everyone to their regularly scheduled, normal, less hyper lives.

have you seen this shot over on the potd (pg 468) thread? i thought the "umbrellas" could be used in some way. I have to switch to system nine to run photoshop and i just don't have the inclination to do so, but thought, since you have the talent...

Cool pic. Ideas on how too use them? Not sure I want to replace Cap'n Jack... he's quite dreamy and I wouldn't mind looking at him as I return to my room every night. Just have to keep my face straight so DH doesn't get jealous

But seriously.... other than replacing Cap'n Jack, I'm not sure how to use them and could use some ideas. I'll kick it around in my head too. Maybe some umbrellas on the table or something.... I dunno.

I've read in other threads how people did gifts for the kids only - that would bum me out since DH and I have no kids.

I think that's a great idea. And knowing who and ages would be very helpful in terms of picking stuff up. Joan, think that column could be added? I'm in for gift exchanges.

What kinds of gifts do folks do, did the thread say? Do you happen to still have the link handy as to the thread?

I think that looks great. I was just thinking, how about just having the lime green mickey heads without bodies. This way we could just write in names. Just a suggestion.

Hypermommy you are really creative. I could never figure out how to do any of this. Thank you so much for all your time and brain power on this project.
