Okay, I know what a fish extender is! I'm sure I'm not crafty enough to make on but I'll try!

I guess I would need everyone's room number so we can all find these fish mail things, right?

Need a MCO pickup...preferrably at the airport...and a PC drop off for a 24 hour period.

We are using Budget. There are 4 of us and we are renting a Ford Escape ("or similar vehicle") We like that sort of vehicle because you can put all the luggage in the back. It's more expensive that what Joan is paying, but the extra space is important for a chronic overpacker like me! I can't start out the vacation with DH screaming becuase we have WAY too many bags to fit in the trunk of a small rental car! Look at all the rental car sites- the prices seem to fluctuate all the time. If you see something that looks good, book it. Then keep looking and if you see a better rate, cancel the first one. There's no penalty to cancel, I do it all the time. Good Luck!

Anty30 - my friend's son's name is Eoin (pronounced "Owen" - it's the Gaeilc spelling). He is SO excited about the cruise. He mentioned over the holidays that he wanted a Jack Sparrow costume and his mom, Jennifer, said she'd take him to the Disney store to look for one. The closest Disney Store is more than an hour away, and they never got there. This will be great - now.... do I give it to him when it arrives or save it for a cruise surprise?

MassDisLovers: I would give it to him shortly before the cruise, simply so you dont have another thing to pack and his parents can bring accessories if they want (sword, toy gun, etc.)

Michelle: we are using Budget. I believe it was around $40 for the 24 hr. rental. Used a coupon code from Costco. Midsize car. They are close to the port and have a shuttle at the port upon disembarkation.
We will see you ate CI&S pool on Friday. And at Grills for dinner.

I am sorry to say to everybody that we will not participate in the fish extender thing. I just dont have it in me. I think it sounds like tons of fun though.

I cant wait to meet all of you. We are so busy this spring and the cruise will be a nice relaxing time for us that we really need. Our sons first communion is 2 weeks after we return and I am consumed with preparing that party.

We are using Avis and renting an Standard SUV. There are only 4 of us but we are card carrying members of over packers anonymous so we need the room. Last time we went on a 3 day we had a small suv and barely got all our stuff in there. So we are paying more but only around 65.00 per day. Avis also has a bus to the port as do a couple of the others. National does NOT and is pretty far away. You can get decent cab fare but not as convenient. Good luck!

Whew! I thought maybe I was a bit over the top. I'm very comfortable with who I am (including the excitability) but I don't want to scare y'all off either. But I am just so excited about the cruise. I never thought we'd be able to do it ... even a 3 day-er is expensive. And last year when Scouter friends wanted me to go on a cruise with them I said "no, i'm saving myself for Mickey." And now, I get to go!!!! Yep.... I'm pretty much losing what little mind I had left

MasDisLovers, I don't know if I'd call anything related to me "under control" ... my daddy always told my mom "if that Denise could just get organized she'd be dangerous." But after all these disorganized years, we've determined the world has nothing to fear on that front.

Joan, I didn't get a chance to work on your graphic last night. Scout night. And this morning I'm going to be good and go to the gym again in the hopes of fitting into a formal without looking so darn much like a theater curtain. But I haven't forgotten.

Oh... also, with the fish extenders and room numbers.... you have some of us on the spreadsheet, but I think we ought to just trade room numbers at the DISmeet on Saturday. Even though right now I'm listed as being in room 2105, I'm hoping for an upgrade (hey, a girl can dream, right? And yes... I've got my dream trip now, but does it really surprise you that I'm the type that's always reaching/hoping for more, no matter how many dreams come true?). Sometime closer to the cruise, I can take the info from the spreadsheet and print off a list of folks with space to put the room number. Then we can just pass that out at the DISmeet and everyone can write it in. If you don't mind... if that wouldn't be stepping on your toes or something.

Oh, darn it.... I did it again, didn't I? This was supposed to be a quick response, not an epistle (too late!). Well, let me get on to the gym and see if I can burn off some of this excitement.

I have 2 sons so I have more experience with the Boy Scouts. However, my website covers US Cub Scouts, US Boy Scouts and US Girl Scouts right now. I've got a bit more data to enter for these types of units and then I'll "move" up to Canada to start entering data for them. Eventually, I hope to have data from Scouting all over the world.

I'll show you next time I'm at my real computer (i.e., not here at work). It doesn't look bad but the deck is kind of funky. If you look closely at the picture you'll notice the deck is funky anyway, but there's so much else going on in this picture that it's not that noticable. I had to get rid of a couple of drink coolers or something that were on the deck in the original picture and I'm just learning how to use the stamping tool.

Hi all. I am in for the "fish gift" exchange. Add me to the list, Joan! Are we telling what we are giving or are we keeping it a secret? Let me know. I am going to have to make a fish extender...I don't sew so I am going to have to use fabric glue or fusable web or something of the like. I guess I will be hitting the craft store soon!

I think it's great you have energy! I think I can speak for all of us that it's finally feels like it's getting close! Now I know who I can shake my booty with on the dance floor. Even though I have "too much junk in my trunk" if you know what I mean!

Don't worry about the graphic, take your time!
