We wil be going to Grills friday night for dinner. Dont know if anybody wants to join us, but the more the merrier.
Wherever the dismeet is on sat., we will be there with bells on.

We are arriving at mco about 11:30 am and heading to country inn and suites then my dd wants to do a surfing lessons (if the weather/waves are ok) so this might interupt our dinner a bit. so, maybe we can join everyone for a drink or two and to say "hi"!! where abouts is Grills close to the country inn and suites??? is there a web site for grills???

we had good luck when we went to dw and my dd did a surfing class at typhoon lagoon at the time disney used ron jon surfing school maybe they still do. They really showed my how to surf and she did really well doing it.
We are going to use them again, they are located at cocoa beach so from our hotel, its only about 5 minutes away (I mapquested it )
However, if you google surfing classes cocoa beach you will find tons of places to teach and they are basically all at the same price. thanks for the link...I mapquested the resturant and it is only a 2 minute car drive from our hotel and if the road we are on isn't too crazy we could walk it too do we have a time set yet for when everyone will be there????

@yogibigdog-we are staying at Best Western Oceanfront for 2 nights.

Joan-on our last 2 Disneycruises we had the Dismeet on Saturday,just a short informal get together to put some faces to the names.

Grills-how about sometime around 6?But we are open for anytime.
Walking should be possible,the only danger will be crossing A1A.I don´t remeber if there is a traffic light.If yes than it´s no problem.

Greetings Fellow Cruisers!

The one who starts the thread is never on the board!!!! I see more have joined since I've been on last which is I can't remember when!!! I'm pretty much out of touch at this point.

I'm booking everything so late and not getting great deals at all. Airfare is still killing me. Haven't booked that yet at all. DH and I are coming out early. We are leaving on 4/16, staying in AK for a few days and then heading to Cape Canaveral on Friday 4/18. Made a ressie at the Country Inn and Suites - Ron Jon's pricing went up considerably even with a AAA discount. Didn't get too bad of a deal for the car rental to and from. We are staying another day after the cruise back at AK for an overnight. Gotta make use of the WDW passes before they expire!

Trying to coordinate with my travel agency to pay off my cruise and get my spa ressies going!!!

In any event, DH will be celebrating his 40th (b-day is really 5/22) and WE will be celebrating our anniv (anniv is really 5/21).

I hope I can meet all of you or at least some of you. Seems like there is so many events on this cruise with so many of us - I can't keep track!!!!!!!

Actually, my thought with the green heads was that these are generic DISSers. But then again, this is more a "first draft" than anything else. Since this is everyone's cruise, I'd like to get everyone's input on this. Everyone cast your vote as to what I should do with the picture since it belongs to all of us. Here are the options as I see them:

1) I like the DISsers heads, leave them in
2) I say we take those fake folks out of the picture and put in pictures of ourselves
3) I don't care. Whatever the majority of folks decide is what I'll post on my door
4) I ain't using that stupid picture anyway so what do I care

Please cast your vote as to which statement describes your feelings best (or come up with one of your own. I'll tally them at the end of the weekend and get back to you. Joan, will that work?

It's in layers so I can easily take out the people without taking out Tink. And if you send me a picture of your family, I could put them in.

In fact, you know what might be really fun is if everyone could send me a pic of their family (against a solid background to make it easy to edit) and I could put a whole bunch of us in there. That's kind of what I was aiming at to show that a bunch of DISsers were coming together on the cruise. I could do this or single families... whatever you want for your door.

That would be great! I'll look for a picture of our family. Tell me how to unlayer a picture. I found lots of background pictures with text that I would like to edit and use for our door but I don't know how. Is there a special program I could buy? Thanks for your help!
