I just wanted to share that I was just able to change my SMSM reservation to an APH rate for our November trip. The rate went down from $174.50 to $139. We're saving a total of $241.97! Hope this can help somebody else. :yay:

i love to read where a homie gets a deal!
congrats, doesn't this just make your day?

i took a look at the rates.
i always love to save money..

but, alas........
no rooms available for my dates.

no aph.

i do have the smsm room booked.
did notice no availability for regular rooms with that promo.
they hit their quota already.

they did have 5 king suites left in that program.

i book each year in january for my october trip.
it's all about HHN for me...

scarey that the deals are not out there for others just now booking for rph.

That makes me very happy for my December trip. I wish they would hurry up and post the rates already. We waited until last night to book our room for early December and booked SMSM for 197.10 a night with tax (same as 175)

Hope we can get the same deal as you!

which annual pass do you need to get the discounted rate. Also, is it like AAA where you are allowed to book 2 rooms at the APH rate?

You can use the Premier or the Preferred annual pass. And I have heard some debate over that last part so I will let someone else answer.

You get a room discount with the Preferred and Premier. I believe the Power Pass has no room discounts.

Also just noticed APH for RPR first week in Oct. $169 for a standard room in case anyone is planning for HHN that weekend...

it depends on the dates that week.

nothing open for the 4th.

i tried.

Yep... I just checked for 9/30 to 10/1... Doing a quick overnight then coming back 10/13 thru 10/15...

the 9/30 price is still lower than what I had booked a few days ago... at that time they were only showing waterview at $199... and much lower than the AAA rate I had originally...

i'm doing 8 nights and i think that is why i'm recieving the message, rooms not available.

one year i did 2 separate ressies for promo deals on the rooms.
i decided i wouldn't do that again.

The two ressies really are two totally different events for me...

Believe it or not, I'm doing all this for HHN... Loved it so much last year when I went with a friend of mine that I'm taking the family this year...

but didn't want to go without my friend so we planned a quick trip for Weekend #2... when I mean quick, I mean an 11 hr drive to get there, stay a couple days, and come home...

then turn around the next weekend and drive down with the fam... 3 days in Cocoa Beach and three days in Orlando...

:scared1: it's totally crazy but I couldn't help myself this year!!!

Nevermind I found it in the APH site. Did they have special APH rates at Christmas last year?

i saw that and checked for the other days.

with the smsm promo, my room is $153. for the weekdays.

i was hoping the ap would be lower than what it is for early october.

That's a great rate though! Maybe APH will come down once it gets closer. It'll probably be hard to beat the $153 even with APH...

Cheking to see what last years rate was for middle of October.Do I need APR?What is smsm?I went in middle of October in 2009 and my rate was $149.I am wanting to go this year but not sure whether to go ahead with ressie with the rates being like $269.Any advice?

I got a $199 rate (SMSM) for mid October a month ago. I have been waiting to get a better rate with APH code but I noticed that the rate is now $269 for APH. So, my $199 SMSM rate is much better and I don't have to buy an annual pass. I also noticed that rates for the weeks before and after my dates in October are very low!!:confused3
