AP special 2 years for price of 1 offer

We live in New York State, filled out the form with our address and got all 4 passes - no problem. They do not limit to FL residents. The coupons were on the counter at the Burger King near Corssroads. I have extra - PM me if you need one!

I will buy my 4 pref. AP 2 yr. online at the Fan Club site. I will fill in the Burger King code when ordering. I assume there will be instructions on how to redeem them when I get to US? Will someone run through the procedure for me? I just want to make sure I've got it right ....BEFORE I get down there! Thanks.

Jennylen,

You said Universal said to you in their email:
"Unused Bonus passes can be upgraded to annual passes." Do you happen to know what a bonus pass is?

Yeah!! My first post after lurking here and stealing all the info I could carry...:bounce:

Eclpz314 - Normally you will receive a voucher for the AP in the mail. You use this voucher to get through the gate at one of the parks. After you go in (or sometime during that day), you need to go to guest services to get your picture made and receive your "real" AP.

janjandis - I'm assuming that Jennylen is referring to the current ticket offer where you can pay for a two day ticket and actually receive a "bonus" 5 day ticket. So you are receiving five days admission for the price of two days (I believe that's the offer). The five days are consecutive and the ticket does expire. What Jennylen is saying is that if you have purchased some other ticket such as the Bonus offer, but have not used them yet, then you may put the money that was spent purchasing the tickets towards the purchase of an AP. I hope that makes sense.;) :)

Thanks for the info! I feel better receiving something "official" in the mail. I already booked our flight on the internet and only have a confirm. paper I printed out. I'm supposed to print out boarding passes within 24 hours of our flight ( I think?) . I booked our whole vacation last yr. through Univ. Vacations and they took care of all the little details and just sent me one big packet of all the reserv. stuff. I just don't want to be disappointed by not following through on something I should have. I've got 3 other people counting on me since "you're such a good vacation planner" arrggghhhh! lol

Last summer we bought the 2/5 day pass, @$90 each! I'm so excited to find the new 2/1 annual passport deal for this summer. :goodvibes We are not arriving until mid-July, but from all the posts and info, I do not forsee any problems. The best part, is we will be able to use them for at least THREE visits! We will use them this summer, next summer, and again prior to 6/30/06! Thank you, for all the FAB info you all post here on the Universal board. Makes me LOVE the DIS all the more!! ::yes::

* I DID IT!!~I just placed an order and used the code supplied on this thread. It worked like a charm! Thanks again, to everyone whom contributed to this thread. :wave2:

Well, I just ordered mine and DH's AP's!! :):) I am so happy to think that whenever we are in Florida now, we can go to Universal anytime we feel like it!! :)

Thanks for the great information on this!! :)

We have never been to US. After WDW, is it a let down? Do kids like it? The price sounds great, but I just don't know if my family would enjoy this park the way we do WDW.

I ordered a promo video for info on the park last year, but it didn't work.

Does anyone know if this works at the US at Hollywood also? We will be there in April 2006. That would make this pass even more attractive to us.

Thanks!
DJ

Does anyone still have a 2-for-1 coupon to share? We bought our AP certificates earlier this year (before I knew about this deal) and will need a coupon when we get our pics taken so we can get the 2 year deal. PM me. Thanks!

I just ordered our 4 pref. AP 2 for 1's yesterday!! I'm not sure we'll get down to US for a 2nd trip during that time but it's a really nice incentive!! I was a little nervous reading "all sales are final" and really had to think before I clicked the mouse that final time, but what the heck, we were going to buy the 1 yr. AP anyway and it doesn't cost any more to get this one. Thanks to whomever posted the BK code here. I typed it in and had no problem getting the 4 APs.....well, at least the confirmation for now because we aren't going down until July. The only bad part of ordering is realizing how much tax is on each pass ($44 total for 4 of them-would've been the same thing at the gate I guess? ) At least that shock is over and will be long forgotten by the time we go. :duck:

DJ,
My family loves US/IOA as much or more than WDW. It is not as spread out as Disney so it's easier to park-hop. No boarding buses, monorails, etc. Just a short, entertaining walk and you're there. The restaurants at Citywalk are great and a nice break from the parks. IMO the Spiderman ride is unparalleled anywhere. Plus, the value we get for our $$ at US/IOA vs. WDW can't be beat.

It seems my family and kids like US/IOA more than WDW. However, we did spend a lot of time at WDW, not at US/IOA in the past year. Different people have different taste. Different parks have different theme. Try one day per park at WDW and US/IOA if you have time.

Janjandis - the bonus pass info on my previous posting is copied from Universal CS reply. I think it's referring to pay for a two day ticket and actually receive a "bonus" 5 day ticket. I am not sure how they prorate the value for used pass.

Do they offer the monthly payment plan with these passes? Still not sure if we are going to venture out of WDW but wanto weigh my options. Thanks.

Did anyone find out about the 'monthly payment plan' for this special? I was interested in the answer to that one too.

Thanks!
DJ

I called the number on their website to find out exactly what payment options went with what offers. The buy 1 year at 169.95 and get one free is not subject to the monthly payment option. It is only available for the annual pass.

We purchased our buy 1 get one over the phone on the way down to florida, got a temporary ticket at the gate once we showed them our confirmation number and then went to member services. they take your picture and your card look like a credit card.

hope this helps.

Actually payment plan question/answer is on 2 for 1 BurgerKing coupon:

I checked back of the coupon, it says flexible payment plan (I guess it's same as monthly payment plan) cannot be applied to this offer.

ilovediznee had confirmed this when calling them.
