AP Rates for AFTER August 4th are...........

That sounds like it might be fun. We are going to be there August 13th to 22nd with our AP rate! WooHoo!! It's our first time staying there and it's to celebrate our 25th anniversary

We are going to be celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary. I think what I will do is start a new thread on the "resorts" board titled...

Do I have to have an AP prior to even getting a quote on a price? I am looking at all of these rates and I feel like I am so getting hosed. We have a deluxe concierge room at the BWI for Aug.18th-25th. But we did a package with Tickets and Meal Plan. My bill does not have anything broken down--but I did it myself. It sure makes the room look outrageous!

You do not have to have the AP to check for rates, only by the time you check in. Rack rate for BWI deluxe Concierge room is $540 without tax. I'm not sure you could get an AP discount on those rooms though.

Just FYI, you can't purchase the meal plan (disney dining plan) with an AP room only discount. You do not have to have the AP in hand when you book, but do have to have it when checking in to keep the discount rate.

I was quoted $225 on my third phone call. Calls one and two said only Carribbean Beach was available! But I ended up booking POR!

Thanks for the info! It's too bad it takes so many phone calls to get the correct answer, isn't it? In my case, I had to call four times to get someone to admit that yes, indeed, AP rates are out. The first three cm's flat out denied the rates were out. All three said the message boards gave false info. I wasn't buying any of that.

PS. I did cancel POP Century standard for 8/6-8/12 if anyone is interested. I was lucky enough to snap it up when it became available for 5 minutes the other day and now switched resorts so it went back on the chopping block!

Garden View Wing is $225 before tax. (I'm not as familiar with the CR lingo, so not sure if there is a Standard Wing, as well, or if Garden Wing is the lowest tier.) I could have reserved it for the weekend of 9/14.

And yes, I've been able to access the AP site with no problems, and view the new rates.

Well I called and we have the best price we can for that room. Of course we have 3 adults because DS is an adult! When we booked it, the deluxe room gave us the extra space without doing two rooms. We tried for the Villas but they were unavailable at BWI or BC. We really want the epcot resorts. Oh, I just have to stop thinking about and enjoy it. The deal at the Poly GV concierge just sounded sooo good.

I just got an offer on-line; the rate was $169/night plus tax

CR Tower - MK view was available for my date 9/22/-07 for $354.38--- that's from the AP site... no standard view offered

I could not get the AP rate to POFQ for the third week of Sept. The pickings were very slim. All the mods except POFQ were available for the fourth week of Sept. I moved my ressie to the second week of Sept and saved big bucks! We have 2 rooms so the AP rate really helped. The 94.00 rate was better than I expected. My theory is that the free dining really filled up the discount rooms for the latter part of Sept. I had to deal with CRO later in the morning. I called first thing at 7AM and got closed out for the third week of Sept. Then I got involved with the system crash thing. Then was a meeting at work. So it was about 10-10:30 before I could get things settled. By the way, I STILL cannot get on the AP website to check availability. Was anyone able to get POFQ for the third or fourth week of SEPT? Or did I just luck out with a CM? Aren't AP release days just so much fun???

Disney is certainly not known for a user friendly web site. It has caused me much grief in the past. Here's hoping they will finally update the site.

oh I am so glad its not just me! I can log on to the passholder site but when I click on special offers it says system error - try back later. I thought it was just my computer and it has been driving me nuts trying to figure out what is wrong!

I was able to acces the AP page and new rates all day long- until now! I just logged on and the error page came up for me as well.

Just caught up with the rest of this thread, since I went to work @7am. Glad everyone got something.
