AP Rates for AFTER August 4th are...........

I am also unable to see special offers. Says system error, try again later.and I did not get the e-mail. Very frustrating. I already have a reservation, but would like to compare several different resorts and don't really want to try and call right now to ask a CM to do so many different comparisons when I probably won't change so don;t want to waste their time when others are trying to get through. Called last week to try to change reservations and told computers were down for the day to try again the next day. It is very frustrating.

I am going through the exact same thing. I have a resort booked AP via phone call yesterday after speaking to four different CMs. The first three denied the rates were out . The fourth CM was terrific. Now that I have made the reservation, though, it is more than I wanted to spend and it was my 5th choice in resorts. I would love to play around with the resorts/dates to see what else is available. I wouldn't mind paying this for one of the deluxes I had my heart set on, but knowing that everything was working fine until their computer crash yesterday at what, 7:05 am? and then so many of us can't get on, yet others can, meanwhile the resorts are getting booked by the minute. :sad2: So much waiting, weeks of waiting for AP rates and this is what happens. :sad1:

I need some good news. :wizard:

I'm a little confused on this AP rate thing. Are there no rates for WL or VWL?

I am curious as well on how much the WL rates are. I was able to book WL Aug 2006 for $130 pn. I wish I could check for you, but I have not been able to access the AP Special Offers page for 36 hours.

Here are the quotes I was given yesterday for Aug 24:

WL: courtyard view with bunkbeds $241.87 per night with tax

VWL: studio $213.75 per night with tax

I hope someone can answer this...

I'm a DVC member who just ordered an AP online last evening. Can I use the confirmation number that I received, call Disney and use that number for the AP room discount? We want to pay cash for one night at OKW at the end of our vacation.

I don't think you will even need that. I am also a DVC member and have not yet ordered my AP but will by the time I check-in. I had no problem booking a room at the AP rate yesterday.

If anyone comes up with a solution to the problem we are having getting into the special offers section, please let us know.

Yes, please. I'd like to add myself to the list of people getting error messages. I can log into the AP site but simply cannot view the special offers. I've also cleared cookies and done everything else I could think of.

Perhaps someone can post the link in the AP email? I read above that someone was able to view special offers by clicking on the link in the AP email. I did not receive the email and have been an AP holder for years.

I, too, am very frustrated about not being able to see the available rooms and rates on the passholder site. Same boat as everyone else. It's driving me crazy. I did not get the email either. HELP!!

That sounds like a great idea! Even if it has to be via PM.

yes I still can't get in either and it is frustrating I have tried clearing everything and using FF, Netscape, and IE:crazy:

oh please pm me the link too - I have tried everything I can think of including different computers!

And yet I have no trouble accessing the florida resident special offer page - if I only lived in florida!

I use the disneyworld.com/passholder link. Just in it and it's working fine.

Looking for the night of Aug 31 @ OKW

I checked for you for the one night:

1 bedroom for $286
2 bedroom for $450

This includes tax. There are no studios (I think disney gave them all away for the upgrades). I checked SSR and it only shows a 2 bedroom for $450.

Here's the info from the email:

Book now at
disneyworld.com/passholder
or call (407) 560-PASS (7277) or your Travel Agent today!

When you call, please be sure to mention booking code FDV.

Me too! I don't know how accurate it would be in checking availability or pricing, but at least it's something! I am taking crumbs here! :crazy2:

I have emailed Disney about this problem. I am hoping so much that this problem is not going to be semi-permanent/permanent on my end. This is like deja vu here for me as I had a problem with the AP site in 2005/2006 that went on for months and was never resolved.

It started in late 2006. Suddenly one day when Disney updated their AP site with a new type of log-in page, I was never able to log in again. Over six months passed and I could not log in. After a couple months of numerous emails and phone calls to Disney, they eventually stopped replying to me.

Eventually, I needed a new computer, so was able to access the site once that happened. Here is my saga for anyone interested: http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=975937

Since the present problem is not related to logging in, I am hoping they will fix it. It IS on their end, not ours. They are the ones that changed their site. We did not change our computers. While they can blame it on us that it is on our computers, it is something THEY did to their site to cause it.

That site is very confusing:surfweb: I am checking the quotes and it doesn't seem as if it is showing the discounted rate...It only shows the regular rate:confused3
