AP discounted rooms

My family is traveling down to Disney together in August. I have an AP. I'll be staying at a DVC resort on my points but then will be moving to a hotel for a few days after. How many rooms can I get for the discounted AP (assuming there are any discounts) rate? And, can the other rooms check in a day before I move, or do I have to check in the same day? Also, do they have to stay at the same hotel & same room type as me?

You can get up to 3 rooms with your AP. I cannot tell you a rate since you do not even mention a resort.. or dates.. usually you can figure anywhere from 25%-40% off per night. Unless things have changes, NO, you do not have to be at the same resort, no they do not have to be the same check in night.....but you must have each room linked to your name (make them in your name & other person's name, then remove your's when you check them in) & you must be present to check them in & show your AP or you cannot get the AP rate.....

Annual Pass..it allows 365 days of unlimited park use. It also allows for other discounts.

Do AP rates usually come in percentages or flat rates? I remember for August last year and I think for the year before it was $75 off per night for the deluxe and DVC resorts.

I'm looking for an ap rate also for one night on Aug 31 - any idea approximatly when I should be looking for these rates to be released??
