Anything new in stores - Friday 12/2?

Just curious if VMK released anything new in the stores.

Boy, that's disappointing. On both counts!

I remember how much fun it was to check all the stores for "hidden" goodies,
like the explorer's outfit at Shrunken Ned's, the princess stuff at Small
World imports, and the cowboy gear at Golden Horseshoe.

Now it seems that they put all the goods into the Emporium only, and I'm
Pavlovian in my beliefs that something new will show up on weekends.

"It's beginning to look a lot like... Halloween..." 'Nuff said.

Yes! All participants who correctly answered the Thanksgiving Quest
got the two hyena pins as a prize. That rocked.

Don't they know that the days of Christmas shopping are numbered? Come on we want Christmas!!! Even my 4 year old looks confused when he sees all the pumpkins...he said duh Mom! It's Christmas! don't they know that?

Well if you think about it, the halloween decorations went up on october 1, and halloween was 30 days later. Lets forget all about the fact that they are still up.

Even if they put up the christmas stuff today, they wont be up for 30 days before christmas.

So, one would infer, that christmas is less important to vmk than halloween was.

yeah i really figured being the first weekend in Dec they would have things up and i was looking forward to see what new things would be in the store... but to no avail. oh well.

Maybe, but if they leave them up until Valentines day.. could be past thirty days. They are certainly in the running for tacky web site of the year with those pumpkins though.

you know maybe they are thinking the 12 days of Christmas like thing which actually go from 12/25-1/6 (yeah I know that is 13 days) but Christmas season ends 1/6/05 for the Feast of the Epiphany

Which just happens to also be the first day of Mardi Gras Season... see just one more month to King Cake time here lol

since i don't know if i won or not as sometimes i know they can be late for some things

well back on topic i was hoping something would come out today but nothing
not even a little pin costing 500 of our well earned credits

is it possible that they arent going to release any new items untl the weekend of christmas and it will be the new Magic Carpet pin? Maybe between the dragon giving 100 credits and no new items is a way of making us save our credits for the Carpet?

Maybe there are no decorations because it is a Christian holiday, and Halloween is non-denominational? I know the Magic Kingdom is decorated, but maybe VMK won't be? Just a stab...

Yavn said that the Magic Carpet and Blue Mickey Ears would both come out after Frontierland.
