Express pass question

I remember having a lanyard for express pass. Is that still the case? I purchased three days of express and was wondering how you show that you have purchased it. The app?

It depends. If it’s in the app, you can do that. If it’s through the hotel, then use your hotel room key. Sometimes you only get a voucher and have to exchange it for a paper ticket.

I bought Express Pass as part of a package with Cabana Bay Beach Resort and tickets.

Photo Recognition is used for Express Pass at Epic. Ticket in the app is used If Photo isn't working

Check the Wallet section in the app. You should see a pass with your name and a QR code. If not, they can print a paper card for you at the hotel.

At Epic, they still scan the pass and use facial recognition as of this past weekend.

As of 3 days ago express passes used photo recognition. The system wasn't working in Dark Universe. You showed the pass from the wallet section of your app but only in Dark Universe.

I really like the facial recognition. I remember Disney using the same technology right after Covid. Unfortunately it was on a voluntary basis and they didn't have enough users for a successful launch. Some guests were really rude about it, too.
