Anything Happening @ WDW Dec 14-17?

Was thinking of a quick golf outing Dec 14-17@ WDW staying on points @OKW. Anything out of the usual happening then? Large crowds, tour groups, courses closed or being repaired, unusally crowded then? Have not called MS yet, thought I would bounce it off the experts first. Thanks

love it!!! go for it if you can! - Disney is decorated for Christmas, MVMCP, CP, O's lights, christmas around the world....

I know that Dec 1-14 is sold out - but who knows you might just get lucky!

You might get lucky because you in the "in-between" time. Seems like most DVC'ers head down the first two weeks of December to kick-off the holidays. Then the big Christmas crowd arrives around 12/21-22 -- depending on how Christmas falls to the weekend.

I'm not aware of the courses being closed -- weather could be anything from 85-45 and even a little bit of both during the course of your trip.

We've been at that time of year and WDW is really spruced up for Christmas. While I am sure the golf courses are open at that time I haven't actually had a golf vacation at WDW yet.

I would encourage you to take the chance and go.
