Anyone watch Ghost Whisperer?

My TIVO thought I would like this show and "he" was right
I had not planned on watching this but since it was taped I figured I might as well watch it and I really enjoyed it. Just wondering if anyone else caught this new show and your thoughts on it?

I didn't see the 1st show but just set my PVR to record the next one.

I liked it well enough to watch it again. I suppose they will concentrate on one "spirit" per show. I thought it was well done with decent acting. Writing could be just a tad more stimulating but I liked it just fine. More than I can say about a few other new shows!

I LOVE "Medium" - can someone who has watched both please give me their opinion - is this just "Medium" knock off - or is it different enough/ good enough to stand on its own? Thank you!

Unfortunately, I'm biased against this new show because CBS pulled Joan of Arcadia and replaced it with this!

Poor replacement IMHO...

I liked it, too. I didn't think I would, but nothing else was on, so I watched it.

Pleasantly surprised.

I've just started watching Medium this season, and Ghost Whisperer has only had the 1 episode but so far I do not find them similiar at all. In GW she can see and talk to spirits and she does not do this for any agency, (she owns an antique store) so "helping" the spirits can be a little tricky as their families have a hard time accepting what she has to tell them. I like both shows. I too thought it was a Medium rip off by the preview but it really is not, like a pp said, I was pleasantly surprised by this show.

i watched it tonight just to see. I don't know if I LOVE the show yet but .....I LOVE the kid who was the ghost tonight!!! OMG was I crying!

I don't like shows that make me cry. I watched tonight. I won't be watching it again.

this episode with kenny made me cry but now im tuning in every week to watch it its really good! I think jennifer does an awesome job in it!
