Anyone use Expedia App to book?

Hi all-
My trip is all set except I just received one of those codes to save on an Expedia reservation. If I rebook through Expedia I will save 25% on our room. Anyone have issues with linking room to MDE and adding magical express when using Expedia? How about experiences with the app? TIA!

I used the expedia app to book and saved quite a bit of money. I had to call expedia to get my Disney confirmation number (the expedia confirmation and itinerary numbers did not work). I was on hold about 20 minutes while the expedia agent called Disney. Once I had that number I was able to link to MDE. I don't know about the magical express.

FYI--I booked using the App and was able to obtain the 12 digit Disney confirmation number after 2 calls, about 40 mins total (first lady I spoke to did not understand me). I did have to walk the second agent at Expedia through the process: call the resort, ask for the 12 digit disney confirmation number associated with the Expedia booking so I could link the resort reservation to My Disney Experience. I called about 30 mins after my booking on the App and it all worked out. I can see my reservation in MDE and FP+ are good! Saved 25%!!

Thank you for posting this information. The first time I called Expedia back I was given a 10 digit confirmation number that of course did not work. I called back and read your information verbatim and after being put on hold for a short time, the agent came back with the correct confirmation number!

I was able to link this additional reservation to My Disney Experience without any trouble.

FYI I made my own reservation online for magical express by googling "magical express", going to the website, and using the Disney confirmation number for my resort. Have a great a great trip!
