Anyone on the February 27th 4 night Wonder?

Thanks for the info

Do you think that it would be OK to get dressed up for the "formal" meal times? DD who is 6 would love to be Tinkerbell!

Thanks

I saw lots of little girls dress in their fave princess costumes at the dinners on our last Disney Cruise. I think Tinkerbell at the Pirate's dinner would be enchanting! Tinkerbell has been my favorite since I was a little girl. We have our costumes and are definitely planning on dressing up! I know other cruisers have taken and worn their pirate outfits to dinner also. I spoke to my TA today and she told me that the docs are running about 3 weeks out, if that's the case, that means we should start seeing them come in in about a week!

Hulloooooo.
Trying to plan all these last minute things, not to long to go....
And I'm wondering is there a store close (walking distance) to the Port or the Radisson Port where I can buy some Liquor/Beer for the Trip???

Any info is appreciated! :drinking1
thanx

What a resourceful little girl you are! Looks like too much fun. Not long now, can't wait! pirate:

Cool picture deedz, my daughter kissed the computer screen! Not long to go! Where is everyone getting their costumes? I've looked at several costume sites and everything is out of stock! I may end up making them, but don't really want to go to the expense(not to mention time). I want to dress for dinner and the party. My oldest daughter won't dress up, oh well, maybe she will when we get into the swing of things. I'm going to try to get to the pirates museum at Nassau and see what they have. I'd like to get a tattoo(temp of course) any idea's? Did anyone have to mail in a medical form? i haven't done it yet. Finally got my fax machine working again, so I'll probably fax it in. Still have to rent a car and a hotel room for the night before we sail. I really need to get moving-time is getting short-YEAH!!!!! Anybody packed yet?

We've got a good little group going!

tink11-I ordered all our costumes online and your right, they were not easy to find. A lot of the ones I was interested in were sold out. I did a lot of surfing and did end up with the ones I wanted so the searching paid off but I did have to order all four of them from different places. Your DD might change her mind and dress up once she's there. My 17 year old is wearing hers. She says it will be fun. If your taking costumes, I'd have one for her just in case! As for packing, I have a pile of "cruise stuff" in the corner of my bedroom and it keeps growing! I really need to get moving. I keep buying stuff and adding to the pile but not really packing it. Target has some cute swimsuits just in so of course I was temped beyond being able to refrain. There's another bag to the pile! Holy cow girlie, you better get a move on and book your room though!

Well finally got my car rented, and a place to stay before the cruise. My brother and his wife are picking us up and driving us to the port. Can his kids walk around the terminal with us? They would get a kick out of it. I'm bringing them their favorite hot dogs can't get them in Fla. Worth the price of a ride IMO. Haven't seen them since hurricane Jeanne did a number on their house(the third hurricane to hit them). They are almost repaired, so I can't wait to see the progress. Now gonna haunt the costume sites to see if I can get some pirate gear!

Tigerrific27:
Are all three of the TWO year olds girls? I will be bringing my 2.5 year old son, I was glad to hear there will be a few more kids around his age onboard.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not getting too excited about the Pirates Night though like all of you. I have a feeling that my son (2.5) is going to be terrified of the Pirate show (them taking over the ship and all). Pirates do look pretty scary if you think about it. Especially to a little boy.
I'm just going to grab some goodies from the buffet and stay as long as possible.

I almost have my bags packed! My husband went out and bought me all new luggage (RED) for my trip. And he's not even going........LOL!

I called Disney with a question, and while I had them on the phone I asked what movies were showing- this is what they told me.
Around the world in 80 days
Jackie Chan
Ladder 49
The Incredibles
Mr 3000
National Treasure
Princess diaries2
And the new movie with Bill Murray can't remember the name.
Some are older movies, but I haven't seen any of them. My daughter will want to go to the movies alot so maybe I'll actually get to see some of them. :cheer2:

What everybody doing on Nassau Day? Atlantis? Cable Beach? OR any fun Excursions there?

Gavinsmom:
My neices are 2 and 2.5 almost three and my cousin who is 2 turning 3 in October Yep they are all girls I do have a nephew but he wil only be 3.5 months old

Where is Cable Beach? We will have some time after our dolphin swim to go to the beach and I was wondering where it is. I'd like to check out the hard rock cafe while we are in Nassau. Any other good things to see?

We are going on the Atlantis tour. I had originally booked the Glass bottom boat tour but had heard that you spend the entire time standing and the trip out to see the reef is long so you spend alot of time just riding the boat.

Atlantis looks neat and then this will give us some extra time to just walk around Nassau and then hopefully back to the ship where it shouldn't be too full to swim.

We're going to do a quick run through of downtown for some shopping then off to Atlantis. I booked a room in order to have the "all access" bracelets so that we can check out the resort. My kids are really interested in the slides and The Dig and all else it has to offer. We're planning on being back for the Pirate's dinner. DD is booked on the Teen Catamaran Party Boat for that evening.

Did you find/see the information on the main board for the liquor/beer run you might be wanting to do? Here it is just in case you didn't.

ABC Liquor
6020 North Atlantic Avenue - 321-799-0049
1 1/2 miles South of the Radisson

Publix
1/2 mile South past ABC

We might make a run too for a nice bottle of wine. We'll have a rental car so let me know if you would like to hitch a ride or if you'd rather, I'd be glad to pick up something for you if you tell me what you would like.

Chrisn: Thank You!

I am being "limo'd" from MCO to the Radisson, so maybe they'll stop for a sec, at the store for me as well, they did on my MK trip, and he was glad he did when he got the extra tip!!! :cool2:
I thought I read somewhere there was a convenient store next door to the Radisson that also had beer/ candy, crap, etc... But cannot find that thread now!

Just to let our Cruisers know. Feb 12th are getting thier Docs!!!
Keep your eyes open! :cool1:

Also spoke to DCL today getting my gifts, and FL was 78 degrees!!! wooohooo!

I keep a weather report on my computer for Nassau and today is sunny and 76! Anyone have first seating for dinner?

We have first seating for dinner. I almost wish we had the late one. Since the day in Nassau is our son's birthday, we would like to be on the ship for dinner. Although, we aren't really late eaters. I guess we'll see which restaurant we have that night and then decide if we will be back to the ship in time for dinner.
For the first time cruisers, I just ordered a book " Passporter's Field Guide to the Disney Cruise Line and its Ports of Call" from Amazon.com. It got really good reviews. I probably won't get it for about a week, but I'll let you know if it is worth getting. Since this is our very first cruise ever, I need all the tips I can get.
