Anyone on the February 27th 4 night Wonder?

It's just what we are use to so I request it when booking the cruise. There is a little bit of rushing around with this rotation but it's not bad. I've also requested the PPTA rotation so we'll see if we end up with that or not. The Passporter is an awesome guide. I don't have the DCL but I do have an older copy of WDW and I loved it! Let us know what you think when you get it!

Any of you doing Palo? If so, which night? I'm having a hard time deciding!

Can't decide on Palo, until I see a Navigator with some kids club activities!!!
And its hard to decide, until I find out my rotation when I check in! 2nd seating.
I can't believe its Feb, and still no new Navigators!!! Aaarrghhhh!!!!

Is Palo really worth the fuss?

I am kinda leaning towards just having family dinners and enjoying each restaurant, eating in them for lunch as well. I thought I might make a big deal out of Tritans instead, dressing up fancy, etc...

:flower3:

Well, I have had the pleasure of enjoying Palo for both dinner and brunch. They were both outstanding! Hubby liked the brunch (Alaskan King Crab Legs) and I preferred the dinner (Porabello Mushroom thing/Lava Cake-YUM!). You certainly won't suffer from lack of food or selection if you don't go, but truly both of these meals were a highlight for us! We had dinner with another couple we met on our last night on the Magic after having appetizers with the kiddos at our regular rotation restuarant. Doing it that way, we didn't feel like we were missing anything. It was nice. I'm fortunate in that I have an older DD whom is very close to her little brother so if DH and I want to do something and neither one of them want to be in the clubs then they will want to be together in the pool or arcade or movie etc. This is the second time we've sailed celebrating our anniversary but have not really planned it that way so I especially would like to experience Palo again for that reason. Just can't decide which night for dinner!

We have first seating! My son's an early eater so it will probably work best for us.
My mom is thinking about going to Palo for Brunch. Is it hard to get reservations for Brunch? And is Brunch only offered on the DAY at Sea?

Hi!
I have another thread ? talking about how Docs come, and Feb 26 Cruisers are doing the Doc Dance!!!
We're next!!!

:cool1:

Please post when you get'em!
:moped: my brain has already left the building!!!!

:rolleyes1 We're going on a Disney Cruise!!! ::MickeyMo

If you are looking to do Brunch you will want to get in line for ressies ASAP. On the 4 day, it's only offered one time and yes it's the at sea day during like maybe a 4 hour span so those will fill up really quick.

26ers are getting their docs?! Woo-hoo! :cool1: Maybe sometime this week! :cloud9: :cheer2:

I am a compulsive planner and I got the Passporter over a month ago and I think it is excellent! Between that and what's on the "Net" you can find out everything you might need to know.

Even though I am traveling with younger children DD6 and DD4, we chose the late seating, because I want to make sure that the kids are awake enough to enjoy the shows - they really love going to any theater shows at home.

As far as the restaurant meals go - we'll see if we make it to the late seating - maybe the excitement will carry the girls later than normal.

I bought the PASSPORTER last June or July. And I absolutely LOVE it!!!
It's packed full of Great information! I will definately be bringing mine along on the cruise.

I like the Passporter too, very helpful. I also highly recommend the Unoffical Guide to Walk Disney World, if your doing the Parks. Excellent information on every aspect of the trip!!!

"We're going on a Disney Cruise!" :sunny:

Ughh!

We've just pulled all of my girls summer clothes out of storage and nothing fits my 13 and 11 year old. You would think with 3 girls we would have enough hand me downs, but my 11 year old is much shorter than her sister at that age so she is a season out (which means she will also need new winter clothes next season). Fortunately my youngest who is nine fits in everything so she has lots of clothes, but after going through the other girls none are that presentable anymore. Needless to say I have to go shopping for 6 bathing suits (2 each) and everything else including sandles which is not an easy thing to do in Canada in the middle of winter. :confused3

Guess what I will be doing during the next 21 days!!!?
This trip is costing me more money again! Oh well - it will all be worth it in the end (right?) :earboy2:

Your post got me moving on getting the clothes out of storage. My daughter has gotten taller and lost weight(med change) since last summer, I'm hoping something still fits, as I'll be like you hunting for summer clothes at the end of winter in Michigan. I'm taking her to get new tennis shoes as her feet have grown too! The only thing I need to get is a bathrobe(lightweight) as I left my other one on the ship after the last cruise. Yes I called lost and found, but nobody turned it in. It was new, I hope it fit who ever got it! The count down is getting closer!!!!!!!

I hear ya! I live in Utah (30 mins from Salt Lake City) and it's really hard finding swimsuits and shorts this time of year. Right around the middle of February, spring shipments start coming in but I am leaving on the 17th. Doesn't give me a whole lot of time! I did find my DS a cute pair of trunks w/ matching thongs at Old Navy and Target just got a shipment of suits that went on sale so that was really nice. Shorts are a different story. Can't find them anywhere and we need them! Like you, my kids have also grown out of everything. Ummmm, I might have to include myself in the growing out of stuff club. My bottom half has a mind of it's own lately. My cruise clothes are SNUG! I'm working on it though! Denise Austin rocks!

Odomam checking in with my DD and daughter (5). We are very excited - we were on the Sept. 26 Wonder that was delayed one day due to Hurricane Jean so we cannot wait to go again! And this time - no hurricanes!

Odomam- We were on the same cruise in Sept as you! What are the odds that we would both be going on the same cruise again? Probably as great as adopting two boys both with the same birthday, same year, only adoptions were six years apart :) Oh, Chrisn how did you get to request your dinner rotation already? I called my TA and she said I'd have to call back one week proir to sailing :confused3 . Did you book directly with Disney? Let me know the inside scoop. My daughter is thrilled-her costume for the pirates party came today!!!!

Yes - I need a new suit as well - HOWEVER I am spending so much time addicited to these boards that I am not getting to the gym! What a sad irony!

Odomam. Cool! Your cruising with us!

I booked through my TA same as you. You don't have to do it through her. Call DCL directly and ask them to pull up your reservation. Just tell them you want to have a dining rotation request noted on your ressie and that you understand that it's not guaranteed but that you would like to request it just the same. I've never had any problems doing this myself. Good Luck! :wizard:

I just wanted to let you guys know. My travel agent just called and they are sending all the documents out to me tomorrow. You guys should start getting them soon. Yea!!!!!
:goodvibes :cool1:
