We have officially received our 167 points purchased through resale :) We received an email last week saying they would be deposited next week, but we went online tonight and checked our account and they were there!!!!! The whole process took about 6 weeks, from start to finish, but it's amazing how fast it went!!! (of course I can say that now that it's over hehe). Of course, this thread and its updates made it alot easier! Thank you Donald :)

Can't wait to make our next ressie tomorrow for next year, after we make our ADR for December trip for the Processional at Le Cellier.

Sent offer in on Apr 28/08. We passed ROFR May 30/08 so there's a month KILLED there. :badpc:

Another 2 weeks KILLED waiting to hear about estopples before we sent in the payment. :sick:

Now another week has gone by since then and TTS is still waiting for the sellers signatures on the final sale. :confused: AAARRRRGGGHHHHH It's going to be 2 months soon since the whole process started for us and we are not even close to getting into the Disney system. :headache: So much for making reservations under our own membership for October. :faint:
 
Hi everyone,

I passed rofr after Disney "rofred" me ( did I make up a new verb?) the first time! Here are my stats:

200 pts BWV $82pp Sept use year all points avail. 9/08. Buyer paid closing. Submitted for rofr on 6/9, passed 6/17.

BTW, my first try at buying and then getting rofred is listed on the chart under "hygienejean's sister." That's me!

Okay, stupid question.......
But I thought when Disney decided to ROFR, it was because the cost per point was too low.......
But it appears that the prices for what is listed in the ROFR section by Donald is #1 are in line with what passed.
Is there some other reason these were denied than Disney thought the price was too low?
I'm just curious because we are waiting to find out from Disney right now. We made an offer on a SSR 160 points at $78/pp. 44 points left from this use year and we pay the closing costs----going through TTS.

That sounds like a decent offer considering that 45 points were used up for 08. who is paying close costs and are you paying anything for annual dues?

But it appears that the prices for what is listed in the ROFR section by Donald is #1 are in line with what passed.
Is there some other reason these were denied than Disney thought the price was too low?
I'm just curious because we are waiting to find out from Disney right now. We made an offer on a SSR 160 points at $78/pp. 44 points left from this use year and we pay the closing costs----going through TTS.

First, to be honest, we haven't figured out the algorithm that Disney uses for ROFR. Also, we haven't seen that many posts with ROFR being exercised. So some of the ROFR data isn't as new as the rest of the data.
 
Just received notice from Timeshare Store that we passed ROFR :cool1: ...... 2 weeks to the day..... Now only to wait 28 more days to close...

Hi everyone! We passed ROFR on 6/13 and received the Buyer's final settlement statement and agreement to sign and Fed Ex back to the title insurance company today. Is that pretty quick to receive them? They probably don't start the title work until they have their money right? So I'm still looking at another month or so before we close? Sorry so many questions.
 
Usually you do not receive your final papers until estoppels (title statement from DVC) is done. Courthouse title search can be done on line I believe. I would expect that if they have your money and final contract and also the sellers than they would typically settle in a couple of days (unless it is HH). Call your broker and check.
