Anyone made it through (or not made it through) ROFR recently? - Section II

:sad2: My great deal at BWV was rofr'd today. 210 june points, buyer gets all 2008 points and 33 banked 2007 points, pays closing, seller pays 2008 maintenance...$77/point.

I kinda thought that might happen, but still a BCV contract in the works that should pass and a big VWL contract that I've got a shot on. now looking again for BWV(my favorite resort).

I guess someone consolidates this info into the big list....
 
Looks like after years of renting we've finally become full fledged. Just passed ROFR - 60 points at SSR, no points until 2/2010 - $75/pt. I thought it might not make it because of the per point cost, but we just got the news.

The no points until 2010 actually works out well, since our 8 month old son won't be tall enough to go on anythng before then!

Well, it's over - our 100 point Aug UY BWV purchase is complete. :-) The points were loaded into our contract today - only 45 days from start to finish. For those who may be interested, here's the timeline:

Hi! Actually, my seller banked their 2007 points, so (assuming I pass ROFR) I will have 100 points to use in 2008. I have contacted my broker who told me that she has not heard anything from Disney. I will keep everyone posted. Thanks for the PD and positive thoughts! :yay:

FINALLY!!!! It took me 29 days to pass ROFR. I got 300 SSR points at $77. 300 '07 points and 300 coming in Dec. '08. I pay '08 mf and closing costs. Now I just have to wait to close.

Well, I'm STILL waiting to hear about ROFR. My broker at GMAC e-mailed Disney for an update, but I haven't heard a thing....
 
Contract sent to Disney 6/23. Disney passed 7/3. 25 BWV points with all '08 points coming. Buyer to pay all closing and mainentance fees. Price per point $92.
I forgot to add. It's an October use year.
 
Well...... just an update on our membership or lack of one.... as I said in post 1525, we are STILL WAITING for the seller to send in their signatures on the completed contract?? It's now been 10 weeks since we started this whole journey of being DVC members and 3 weeks since we sent in our contract payment in FULL to GMAC.

Can the sellers still change their mind????? :confused:
