I am hrading to DL in October and I want to get a new pair of sandals. A friend suggested that I try Teaves.

Does anyone wear these? Are they good Disney shoes? Any and all opiniuons are appreciated. TIA!

I have a pair and love them. My DH only wears tevas even to work. We wore them to WDW a few years ago just after labor day. I had an issue with blisters but that may be due to never having worn them before. I would try to get your feet used to them before you go to WDW that way you wont have an issue. My DH did not have an issue at the park and he wore his.

I LOVE my Tevas! They are great for WDW. They are water proof and very comfortable. If you buy them, just take some time before you go to break them in slowly.

Thank you! I hope to pick them up this weekend. Are Teavas durable? I'm hoping to get sandals that will last for a long time.

TIA!

Another Teva lover here! I used to always, always get blisters at WDW when I wore socks & tennis shoes. Once I switched to Tevas my feet have never been happier! My only concern now is we are going to WDW in December and I don't know if my feet will be too cold for them. I hate the thought of going back to tennis shoes! When I get home from work I take off my shoes and put on my Teva flip flops (Mush) as quick as I can. I know I sound like a commercial but that's how much I love them! And yes, they are very durable. I have my original pair from a few years ago and they are as good as the day I bought them.

They are really durable and have nice, high arches - good foot support :thumbsup2

I have the Teva water sandals and 2 pairs of Teva sandals that have a cork type sole. I love both types. The are comfy and have held up well to constant wear.

We all have them and love them! DS has the Dozer's, DD has the Spoilers that have heel shock abosorbers which have helped relieve the heel pain she's been having due to growth spurts, DH has the TRail Wraptors, and I have the Pretty Rugged sandals. They are so comfy! I've worn them all summer and they still look new. I wore them all over Disney in May (when they were new) with no troubles.

I have 3 pair of the Teva flip flops. DH has 2. All 5 pairs are going with us when we leave on Saturday. Love them. :thumbsup2

Thanks, again, for the replies. Looks like I'll be stopping at the mall after work to pick up a pair :)

We wore them at WDW last summer for 12 days and had no blisters or problems. They are great shoes! Very comfortable.

I love my Tevas. That's the only shoe i wear when I'm at WdW!

I have 2 pairs of a flip flop style that I wore last week for 8 days of walking and my feet still felt good! :thumbsup2

I have the Pretty Rugged in nylon and leather, plus a pair of the Mush. I can't walk around all day in flip flops, but they were good for the pool. The leather ones didn't have as much support as the nylon for some reason. :confused3

Anyway, just make sure you don't get the Hurricane II if you'll be doing a lot of walking. They have this plastic triangle on it that will rub your foot bloody. OWIE. The better models (like pretty rugged) have some cushioning under the triangle.

I've had the same pair of Tevas for years, and they're all I wear in the summer except when I have to dress up more. I wore them all day yesterday on a rainy day in Manhattan. DD13 started out wearing her high top tennis shoes, and when they got wet she ended up switching to flip flops. My Tevas were wonderful.

A caveat: The first few times I wore them I needed moleskin for a few spots.

I'd never heard of TEVAS till I came to the Dis. I heard such good things about them that I decided to see for myself. They're GREAT!!!! Can walk all over EPCOT without ever once thinking of my feet. :thumbsup2

I love my Teva's!!!

I have had the same pair of Teva's for about 7 years and I LOVE THEM!!! I wish they made the same style I have as I would buy two more pairs. I have put a lot of miles on my Teva's too, I walked all over Rome and Washington D.C. with them and they are the most comfortable sandals I own.

Only advice is to buy them in advance of your trip and break them in before you go.

I'm really wondering what teva lost...I know that she tend to "forget" to wear her underwear, so maybe that's what you are referring to. At least I assume that we are supposed to finish the sentence--"Anyone have Teva's ___". Or it could be sanity. I'm pretty sure she has lost that. :rotfl: Like I can talk! :rolleyes1

Oh! Now I get it! :rotfl: (Took a while  )

For your information, though, I do not forget to wear my underwear. I have made a conscious decision not to wear them while dising. Hence there be no chance of getting them in a wad again.

You might want to order online if you can't find what you are looking for in the stores
http://www.teva.com/WomensLanding.aspx?mnu=womens

Shipping is free if you spend over $75.00 which is easy to do if you are buying 2 or more pair. They have great customer service, too! Depending on where you live, you may find a limited selection of the sandals now that summer is nearing its end.
