Need a receipe for my DD's baby shower in 2 weeks. All women with some younger children. (She is a dance instructor and invided some of her students she has known over the years.) I rather not do the one with shebert in it. Too sticky and makes a mess sitting out too long.

So please give me your favorites. Must be simple and fast. Keep in mind over 80 guests please.

Thank you so much for your suggestions in advance. ::MinnieMo

I container frozen raspberry sherbet, (1) 2-liter of hawaiian punch, I large can of pineapple juice and (2) 2-liters of gingerale or 7-Up (any clear soda)...easy and very yummy. This amount fills one regular size punch bowl.

***ETA, I read the OP too quickly, sorry. This one has sherbet***

I'll look through my recipe books and see if I can come up with another good one. I usually just do the sherbet kind though, it is always a hit.

Maybe try a flavored lemonade? Like garnished with mint leaves and lemon slices? That would be good.

2 cans pineapple juice. 1 can cream of coconut mix well. Freeze.
When thawing, add 1 liter of 7-up. delicious.

Have a great party.

1 (32 fluid ounce) bottle apple juice, chilled
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen cranberry juice concentrate
1 cup orange juice
1 1/2 liters ginger ale
1 apple

Directions
1 In a large punch bowl, combine apple juice, cranberry juice concentrate and orange juice. Stir until dissolved, then slowly pour in the ginger ale.
2 Thinly slice the apple vertically, forming whole apple slices. Float apple slices on top of punch.

Note: the above is for 12 servings. For 80, you would need:
7 bottles of apple juice
7 cans of the frozen cranberry juice concentrate
7 cups orange juice
10 liters ginger ale
7 apples

Some interesting options, keep them coming I would like to let my DD make the choice. :sunny:

The punch I chose for my wedding was very simple, and more refreshing than the real sweet stuff:

1 can lemonade
1 can limeade
sprite/7-up or ginger ale (probably a couple of 2 liters, can't remember)

We also added some sliced lemons and limes to the punch bowl.

eta: you can multiply the recipe depending on how many guests you're having. It's very forgiving, so you can just add more to the bowl when it runs low.

I make mine with sherbert, but you wouldn't have to add it:

1 can frozen concentrate lemonade
1 can frozen concentrate limeade
(do not mix with water-just the stuff in the can)
1/2 of large can of pinapple juice (like the Hi-C or tomato juice can size)
1 2 liter bottle of ginger ale

My kids LOVE this punch.

I add sherbert. I don't think adding sherbert is going to make it sticker or more messy.

1 can hawiian punch
1 can pinapple juice
1 2 liter sprite

This is the punch we use to serve at our pre-school for programs with parents. Its so easy, and its really very, very good!!

I don't have a recipe, just a FYI - Stay away from grape juice - it stains! ;)

One I like is just equal parts grapefruit juice and ginger ale. Add lots of ice, and also slice some lemons/limes on top.

2 gallons of cranberry juice, 1 gallon of vodka. Everybody smiling!

Sprite or 7 Up
Hawaiian Punch
Vanilla Ice Cream

Mix Sprite with Hawaiian punch in a punch bowl than add scoops of vanilla Ice Cream, and serve.

Well it's not sherbet but I use the already made frozen punch container recipe. It looks the same size as sherbet but it's in the frozen juice section. I believe it says to add 7-up or ginger ale. Can't get any easier.

Eighty people? That is one huge shower. Are you renting a hall somewhere?

Equal parts of Hawaiian punch and ginger ale (cuts down on the sweetness).
If desired, one bottle of dry champagne (I use the cheap stuff).
Add orange juice ice cubes. (You can also freeze the OJ in shaped containers or rings, etc.)

The OJ ice cubes keep the punch cold without watering it down.
Have fun!

This has sherbert (and champagne!) but you can leave it out...

1 can Hawaiian Punch
1 can pineapple juice
1 carton orange juice
1 - 2 liter ginger ale/7-up
1 drained can fruit cocktail
1 bottle champagne
raspberry or rainbow sherbert

Mmmmmm!!

2 liter of Hawaiian Punch
2 liter of Squirt

I would freeze some of the Hawaiian Punch into a ring (or maybe a few rings, if you're having that many guests), then just pour into a punch bowl and stir. Very easy and tasty!

Hmmm, these sound delicious.

An even quicker variation on some of these. 1 large can pineapple juice and 1 2 liter of ginger ale. Add ice and serve.
This is our tried and true recipe used every year at Thanksgiving.
But I am going to have to try some of these others, too!

Our family has this punch for every holiday. Grandma started making it years ago and holiday's just aren't complete without it.

Mix one pkg. of cherry kool-aid, one pkg. of black cherry kool-aid, 2 cups of sugar, 1 quart of water and one large can of pineapple juice then freeze (we use a gallon ice cream bucket). An hour or two before you are ready to serve it take it out to let it soften. Put the softened frozen punch mixture into a punch bowl and add 7-up. The frozen mixture will make it slushy and it is great. You use the amount of 7-up that tastes good to you. As the frozen mixture softens/melts just add a little more 7-up.
We used this punch last year at our church and almost ran out (4 of the frozen portions). Everyone loved it!
