Anyone happen to videotape the wiggles marathon a few weeks ago?

Ok, I don't remember how long ago it was - it may have even been around Christmas - when the Disney Channel ran a Wiggles marathon. We told ourselves we wanted to tape some if it... but didn't.

I'm wondering if it was all new episodes or reruns of other ones? I'm going to tape some off the Disney Channel and was just thinking about that marathon and what the shows were. (hindsight is 20/20 I suppose)

I didn't even know there was a marathon. Bummer, as Justin loves the Wiggles.

Do you, or does anyone know when they show the newer episodes? Every one I see if from like 1999. Or aren't there any newer episodes? We are just "getting into" the Wiggles.

I threw the VCR on slow speed and taped the whole eight hours. It was on on a day that we were home - something like New Year's Day or some such holiday.

They are all the new shows (which I think kinda stink) - Lights, Camera Action! We use it now every day for my DS's Wiggles Fix - but he usually wants the old tapes we have more. However, I bought the Wiggle Bay CD and he hates it - this from a Wiggle Die Hard to the extreme. Mama's one too. You should see me shake my hips with Wags the Dog - and then at the concert........ well, you get my point. I think the old songs are much better - so never fear, just tape when you can and you will have great episodes to watch again and again.

By the way - the episode at 8 am is an old version not Lights Camera Action! I think they have the new ones on in the afternoon. The new format seems to be geared to older children -which may be a tactic they are taking as their Australian fans are growing up.

I think the newer epsiodes are on about 9am and 11:30? DS actually likes the newer ones better since they are different. The older ones seem to be the same skits all the time, just mixed around with other older skits. I really think Disney is overplaying them too much. We loved the Wiggles when they first started showing them but it seems that every time we turn on Disney Channel, there they are AGAIN! DS has actually been asking to watch Nickelodeon instead

The 8am show in the MIDWEST, is Lights Action Camera. You guys are in a different time zone.
