I just listened to the Mousetunes podcast and it sounds fab. I was wondering if anyone was planning on going, or had been to one before to tell me what it's like?

Thanks

It's the National Fantasy Fan Club - a club for Disney(ana) enthousiasts. Apparently they have all kinds of Disney Legends there giving presentations, stuff for sale and I heard on the podcast that they will be walking the tracks of Everest!!

It will be at the Swan hotel.

I seem to remember someone mentioning that they would be attending, but can't find who it was..

Thanks Aruna - sounds like something not to be missed if you are there at the time :thumbsup2

Hi Aruna

We once went to one of these at the Contemporary, we had been to Chef Mickeys, and got chatting to an elderly gentleman who invited us along to have a look. It is very interesting they have lots of memorabilia for sale, old props etc, they also have new items to commemorate the event, I got a nice snowglobe, and some Christmas ornaments. Do you know when it is this year, I would love to go again, and would certainly recommend it :thumbsup2

Forgot to mention Marc Davis was there when we went, we never got his autograph, we got there too late, but lots of people were there for hours getting to meet him ...

I'm going along for the public show and sale on the Saturday, can't miss up the opportunity to meet Lou & Nathan. I was the person who emailed into MouseTunes about it a few shows back. Really looking forward to it though it's scuppered our Saturday plans!

In that case I might see you there!! look out for a penguin...

We decided to go at the last minute since Jet Blue lowered their fares from Newark NJ. We arrive Friday night, and will be at the public show bright and early on Sat AM. We are members of the Florida Chapter of NFFC and also the National Chapter. We have gone to several FL NFFC meetings and have always had a great time. We even went to the National Convention last July to celebrate Disneyland's 50th.
