Anyone ever used the Ignore Button?

If you use the Ignore Feature does that mean you never see that player in VMK again or is just for that day?

No, I haven't used it but I'm curious to know!

I haven't really used it much, but my understanding is that:

- you will continue to see the person
- but, you won't hear anything they say
- the effect is only temporary (not sure how long it lasts)

I remember a few of us using the ignore button when a guest came in and was just spouting off and ranting and making non sense. I believe it may have been at the surf spot a few weeks ago. Anyway we all hit the ignore button and it worked. Thats the first time I've ever used it.

My son accidently used the ignore button once, on me. lol. I had bought a bunch of that weekend events stuff and had it to give to him, but we couldn't trade. I don't know how long it lasts, but it was towards the end of that day, so we ended up having to wait till the next day to trade.

Oh yea! Its was bliss.I used it on this guy and girl that kept saying i forget but something to me.So i het "Ignore"and bam!Once the guy came up to me and just looked at me.I laughed.

I've been tempted many times. Allthough I decided I'd rather bug the heck out of them by bubbling over with happiness and virtual hugs. It usually bugs them enough so that they'll leave

I have.A guy was making fun of me when i was just starting. reported them and they said use the ignore button and i did.

I can't stand to keep getting those trade windows popping up by someone who hasn't even spoken to me. Once someone put the trade window right back in my face after I had said no, so I have started to use the ignore button on trade windows, it seems to do the trick!

if you need to know, just click the ignore button on anybody and read the thing that comes on the screen. once you click ignore, a warning will come up and it says are you sure you want to do this. there is more to the message, but i don't know what is says. try it and if you don't want to really ignore that person, just click cancel.
