Anyone ever hate on a music artist before you really ever listened to them?

I am not a fan of most of the new music today...I prefer to stick to my 80's music, or a few other artists..

Well my girlfriend has been trying to get me to listen to Lady GaGa..I have been telling her NO! Well she linked me a video that had Eric from True Blood in it, so I watched it..told her it wasnt all that bad...so she linked me a few more...Now I am hooked on at least 3 of her songs..she reallys isnt all that bad!

Guess I shouldnt judge before listening.

No, I love music and I really don't hate any music. I am 45 and I listen to current stuff as well as my old stuff.

I guess the only artist I had trouble with was MJ. I still didn't hate his music but I had a hard time listening to it.

LOL - I remember being a teen in the 80's, and my dad always complaining about my music being garbage (ranged from AC/DC to club music). Now, I listen to what the kids like, and Lady Ga-Ga is one of them!

No, and I don't have a lot of respect for those who do. A name is a name, it should have nothing to do with the music.

I've been turned off by the image that some bands put out for themselves. And sometimes I don't like a specific genera, so I'll avoid those in the genera (like death metal or something like that.)

Actually listening to Lady Gaga made me hate her even more than I already did.
