Anyone else with BLT MKV Jan-Mar Worried?

Just saw the thread on the parks board that the castle front will have a refurb jan 10 - late march.

We have BLT MKV 3/6-3/16. Worried that we are going to be using all these points on the castle is going to be covered. The whole point of the getting MKV was so my daughters could see the castle at night all light up from the room.

Anyone else worried, or will the view be uneffected?

Well that stinks, although I really wanted the MK view for the fireworks!

Figures. I booked an MK view studio for the beginning of Feb. Could have had lakeview but figured I'd finally try MK. Kind of like when the Matterhorn was always closed for refurbishment everytime we went when I was young. I finally rode it in my mid twenties!

I don't know if it really will affect the view. When we were there in Nov they still were working on the backside but only the lower part was covered. My best guess is it will still be lit and from the distance to BLT the scaffolding or any other work won't be that visible. That's what I'll be hoping for anyway but just planning on enjoying the fireworks.

You'd need the Hubble Telescope to get a good view of the castle from BLT, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

We have an MK-view villa booked for 3/1 - 3/8/10 and will be neighbors for part of your stay. No, I'm not worried about it. We'll still see the monorails, Seven Seas Lagoon, Big Thunder Railroad, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, the ferry boats from TTC coming and going, the fireworks, and still most of Cinderella's Castle. And besides, BLT is now our home, so over the next few (or many) years we'll have lots of chances to stay in the MK-view villas and see the Castle after its refurbishment.
