Anyone else get UNAVAILABLE for SW??

Schedule just opened through August not 10 minutes ago, but when I plug in my JUNE dates...."Unavailable". Except for Full Refundable fare. How can that be??

Seems that they did that for lots of flights. Same thing here from New Orleans to Orlando. Unavailable except for the most expensive "Refundable Anytime" fare.

For those who are still seeing the May 10th deadline....click on the "Book Travel" option on the menu that runs across the top of the page as opposed to the "Book Flight" option from the menu that runs vertical. That option seems to not be updated yet.

I just checked every day in June from Indy to MCO and reverse and practically every price category is already unavailable. Whats up with this? I may just have to book another airline to get my fix!!!

Yep, not a lot of "Internet" fares available with the new schedule. Guess I'll wait it out a while longer. I don't suspect these new fares are going to book up fast anyway, since they aren't much different than the fares that have been open through 5/10 that still have availability. Wait to see what the other airlines do now.

Guess we could book the "refundable" and hope for better fares later, but with 6 people my credit card will really be taking a hit. And I'm afraid if I wait, it will book up and we'll be SOL.

I have been waiting for May 18th with a return date of May 24th, the return flight that use to be around 5:00 is now 6:30 which is nice because it gives us just a bit more time in the parks.
But Yikes the price is $117 each way, last year I started with $79.00 and eventually got down to $59.00 each way. I do have a nice credit from last year plus some gift certifcates so I think I will just hang in there for awhile before jumping on the $117.00.
If it were just my family I'd book and then use the credit for another trip, but my brother and his family are going too and they most likely would not fly again next year so any credit would be wasted for them.

On my first try, the only fares available were refundable anytime fares. Since then, it seems that all of the Restricted Fares and Advance Purchase fares have "opened" as well.

Waiting and hoping for the Internet Fares to become available soon.

Don't know what type of "roll out" this is....but, it's different than in the past. When I booked for December 2006 for MVMCP, the schedule was extended and all of the fares were available from the start.

I checked for PHL to MCO. All fares were available, but the internet was $117 each way. The flights that were unavailable were ones with a stop. Allegiant came out with their fares for my dates last weekend and I was surprised at how much the additional fees added up. Decided to wait and see what SW would post. I saved close to $200 by booking with Allegiant.

I am booking for other family members as well. Just can't take the hit for the non-discounted fare even with the possibility of a credit. I suppose at some point they will open up more fares...

lowest fare on last NS MCO to PIT = $147.90...cost me $443.70 for 3 people ONE WAY

guess i high tail it back to AT for Oct lol; at least $100 less each eay...

live and learn, I suppose...grrr.

Funniest part is i blindly booked the last flight of the day (assumming it would leave when it always did @ 7:05 p.m....unfortunately, it doesn't until 8:45 p.m. DH isn't too thrilled with the prospect of 4 hours sleep before work the next day).

Similar problem here. The only cheap nonstop flights are the first flight of the day (7am) and the last flight of the day (8:30pm).

Yes, I called SW and asked about why the flights were unavailable. She was so snooty and said that "these are holiday flights and of course they aren't discounted." What? We book these flights every year for Memorial Day week and they've always been discounted. I am so tempted to book through another airline but Delta is the only one besides SW with nonstop out of New Orleans.

It would cost us $200 more to fly SW with a layover in Birmingham than to fly DIRECT on American! Gee, I wonder which airline I will choose?

SW is doing a much better job, from their perspective, of not offering deeply discounted seats on flights that will sell out at higher fares. There is a reason why SW is profitable.

Book another airline if you can get a better fare.

So... what holiday falls on June 3 and June 8, which are the dates I'm looking at that are unavailable??? Geez.
