This is why I limit my FB time. It's not real life. People post all these amazing things that are taking place in their lives. They often are not posting the mundane, terrible or difficult. And for some when I see their peachy perfect posts, I know it's just a happy face and isn't always reality. So they portray all these amazing things which isn't the full story and then I walk away feeling bad about myself.
Now, when my true friends in life do special things, I can honestly say I'm not jealous. Pure happiness for them. But the constant FB barrage of everything is perfect gets tiring. I always compare to a facade and feel worse about my life.
I get what you're saying OP.
