I first read about his website/planning guide on mousesavers.com and while I saw a mention of a special offer on these boards, I haven't come across anyone who has said they used it, etc.

Any feedback would be great!

Thanks,

Hi, I think it's a good site for anyone who doesn't know how to research all the different websites on the internet. I am a frequent visitor of WDW and I got it just to see (curiosity!) It has a LOT of information and it will take time to wade through it. You have to use it a bit to get used to where everything is. All in all I liked it. I probably wouldn't use it for every trip, but it was worth it for a one time deal (for me)!

I subscribed to TGM and I have to say I'm very happy with it! I used the discount code from mousesavers so it cost me $18.95 (?). I have also read the Unofficial Guide, Passporter and Birnbaum's, and I have to say TGM has their info and then some. Knowing what I know now, and comparing their info, I'd choose TGM as my only source. What's so great is the site (and your plan) gets updated with changes immediately (new rides, FASTPASS rules, etc) and they get intergrated into itineries (sp?). The other guidebooks are dated by default- by the time they are published, so many things have changed! So, I highly recommend it, but otherwise I'm sworn to secrecy (you'll understand when you subscribe!!).

I am very happy with TGM! The information is current and the website is easy to navigate. I highly recommend using TourGuideMike!

I was skeptical, but signed up, and I love TGM! His articles are great reading! They are much easier to stick with than all the guidebooks, and more current too. I love the automatic updates, and the way you can customize your own plans and send yourself email reminders to make PS for meals and activities. Now there is even a TGM radio station too! If you usually buy a paper guidebook, I would recommend TGM. Make sure to sign up as soon as you know your dates, it does take awhile to read all the stuff. I read some part of TGM everyday during my lunch hour to get ready for our upcoming trip!

3 days to the Poly!

Got it and LOVE it!! :bounce: The membership portion is good from the time you buy it til 60 days AFTER you return. Considering my trip isn't til the end of 2004, if you do the math from the time I signed up, it was only like $1 per month! :p There is a coupon code out there that makes it cost only $16.95. I put a link up for the yesterday. It wasn't a private code so there is no problem using it!

My lips are sealed too JeanKeri!:D I really enjoy TGM. I got in on the 18.95 discount as well a couple of months ago but I would have gladly paid full price. He has touring suggestions that I haven't seen anywhere else. I like that he has experience with being a tourguide at WDW and I'm confident that he knows what he's talking about. I also like the fact that he gives reminders for when to make your PS. All in all, it's an excellent value, lot's of info!

I too like TGM!

I bet if you printed out all his pages it would look like a phone book! I like the updates and the touring plans.
I have found that I use TGM as "study Material" while at home, even though this last trip I printed out pages to take along, I found that once there I didnt need to reference them because I had memorized most of it without even trying!
I did take along my Passporter and that is just great to keep up with everything and to have all the resort info at your fingertips.
These 2 together are perfect. If I had to choose one, it would have to be the Passporter for it's portability and conciseness but TGM is like picking up a good book and is a wealth of information.

Mike sent out the following in an email today. Hopefully, someone will be able to use it!

""TourGuideMiKE’s ‘Tell a Friend’ AVP Discount

Beginning Monday, July 21, and running through Midnight on Thursday, July 31, I am providing a $5 off discount code to any of *your* friends or family members who would like to purchase the AVP.

That reduces the already reasonable price of the AVP from $21.95 to only $16.95. All they have to do is type in HE7KD-8GA into the Promo Code box on the purchase page to receive their $5 discount.

Since you’re only receiving this email if you have or have had an AVP, you already know it provides my automated recommendations of the best attractions, restaurants, and tickets based on your personal vacation preferences. And that the advice offered in the attraction, show, and entertainment descriptions are more comprehensive than any other resource on the web or in print.

That it provides my step-by-step itinerary building advice that will help you make the most of your vacation. That there is a library of Sample Park Tours that are identical to my $95 per hour VIP Tours to help you avoid lines and crowds everywhere you visit. There’s no need for me to cover all that, right? ;>)

You have my expressed written permission to spread the news about this discount code in any form you deem helpful. **It is by no means a private offer** and I challenge you to spread the word through every possible resource! Anyone who’s looking for a wonderful vacation to Walt Disney World is a friend of mine! :>) ""

I bought TGM recently and do give it two thumbs up, however, I found the guide somewhat difficult to navigate. It just takes some time to get used to using it. But otherwise I think its well worth the money.
