Anybody Staying At Sog In April???

Hi,
I am currently in Iraq, but will be home any day now and we are staying at the SOG 12 Mar- 18 Mar.
My daughter will turn 3 while we are there so I plan on making a reservation for lunch at Cinderella's Royal table.
Have you stayed at SOG before? I am trying to find out if they have rooms that open up into the Kiddie pool area? Do you know?

The old building first floor pool rooms open up to the mickey and kiddie pool. You must request these, and they are very convienent to everything! Please try and have someone call right away for the princess lunch reservations as these sell out pretty quickly. Have someone call 407-WDW-DINE asap. There are several princess lunch/dinner alternatives if the castle is booked, like the Norway restuarant at Epcot and the Grand Floridian buffet for dinner.

What is the difference in the old building and the new building? Are the rooms in the old building run down? Which would you reccommend?

Hi, there! I am so happy you are coming home soon. Your daughter must be so excited! This will be our first time at SOG and we are really looking forward to it as we have heard nothing but great things
The hotel was rennovated a few years back, but I have heard nothing negative about getting an old room. The SOG have the largest rooms on the Disney property and is considered a deluxe resort. Personally, I requested a quiet room by the golf course...not sure if that is new or old section. You'll have to update us on your experience there when you return from WDW.I'll try to locate some pics of the rooms for you today and I'll post them.
