Anybody Looked At Mousesavers This Morning

I am sooooo hoping it comes out tomorrow or Tuesday as I'm now off (thanks to the GA Governor cancelling all public schools for those days). If it comes out Wednesday, I'm back at work. ARRRRGHHHH!

Wishing us all PD for a quick announcement~

*Handing barf bag to maverick*

OMG! I just assumed dining was a maybe...I'VE GOT TO FIGURE OUT MY ADR's!! Gotta go!!!

I just had to post here...my Disney TA told me to look for something this week too! Although she said that it is anyone's guess WHEN it will actually happen. She has all the Nov and Dec (till Christmas) files pulled ready to apply discounts.

This is drving me NUTS!

Any discount is good, but I would LOVE something GREAT! :genie: Here's wishing!!

So, now we have to maybe wait till Thursday?! AARRGGHH!! UUGGHHH!!! :hourglass

I think there's more obsession this time around than the first time free dining came out. :rotfl:

CALM DOWN PEOPLE!!!

You're going to give yourself strokes and heart attacks before you even get to Disney World! :rotfl2:

Been sitting back and reading and watching.... feel like barfing also at this point!!

First time I ever booked a package - already paid for because we are 37 days out!! Booked through Disney and not a TA :guilty:

Just added two more ADRs to the two we already had after "more fuel"was added to the fire by Disney_1derland!!! Was just hoping for a discount more than the $50 it will cost to change my package but now have my hopes up higher, like everyone else, I guess!!

Hope I can hang in there  :crazy2:

Just thought I'd add that Universal is having a deal "kids stay, play and eat free" Until 1/1/06.........maybe Disney's will be similar?

As tone.def has said lets not go overboard with this. Lets see what the deal is first because we could be getting our hopes up for one thing and the deal could be something different.

Quick question...I booked room only with AAA rate through Disney. If free dining does come out, I can just call Disney and add it right? I know I will have to give up the AAA rate, but free dining would be a better deal. Maybe. Would a room reserved under the AAA rate probably also be one that would qualify for free dining? Funny thing is that free dining would make me reconsider the benefit of Sugar Loaf Conc. at GF. AHHHH! Too much to think about.

How great is it that this site allows us to help each other to take advantage of offers we might never know about!! :cool1:

I am just so grateful to all that try to help--sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't--but the efforts of our fellow DISers are greatly appreciated------ as I know I have been able to have more fun at DW and less stress at lower cost due to them---THANK YOU!! :cheer2:

Right now I have just a reservation only at AAA rate for POFQ Dec 1-6 for me and adult DD but a great package deal--love to see that!

I have AAA package Dec 10-14 too. If we get something special announced this week, I wonder if AAA allows changes...I wouldn't mind bumping up from POFQ to one of the monorail resorts.

Ok, now everyone raise their right hand and swear........ that when it comes out, and it isn't what you wanted,(free meals, military, after Dec...etc) you won't be disappointed.....ok maybe just a little, but just a little :sunny: :sunny: :earsgirl:

I won't be disappointed. I'll still be going to Disneyworld and I had resigned myself to not seeing any discounts for my time a couple of months ago anyway. I figure even paying for the dining plan I'm saving money on food and if something else comes out great, if not it's certainly not going to ruin our trip.

I keep checking throughout the day and have hardly gotten anything done in two days. Oh well...Keep hoping that it is something really good for all of us and we can all reap the benefits of whatever special discount it may be. But I have to say, if it is something similar to free dining I will be really glad. We are 8 people going with only 1 child so the savings would be somewhere around $1000.00 way more than the AAA discount we already have. That is if I am calculating right. Just keeping hoping the news comes out SOON because this is very frustrating! I don' t have enough knowledge about previous discounts or what would be the best ones since this is our first time but you guys sure know your stuff. Its great just to come here and read the ideas for what it might be!

Kelly :)

I'm excited about the discount but my only delima is now if POFQ is not available under the discount do I change my ressie. I'm really really looking forward to staying at POFQ because of its small size.

I am interested in what this could be also...well, we should know for sure by Wednesday, right?

If free dining comes out, it's my understanding that with this type of promotion, packages/rooms are limited at the resorts. So it's possible that certain room types or resorts might not have availability with the promo.

:flower: Not much to offer from my DU TA, but at least she is aware:

"There have been rumours that something is on the horizon. We do not have
any further information at this time. We have already noted on your
reservation that you might wish to switch to a package if a special becomes
available."

I hope it is tomorrow!! :flower:

keep us posted I go oct 19 I guess that's not late oct but may go dec 8

You all have such nice TA's! Mine hasn't said JACK about it - well, she did send a mass email out saying something like ... "if any discount is released by Disney (package or room only) that is applicable to your travel dates, we will automatically apply that discount to your reservation and advise you of your savings." (in other words, just sit back and wait for us to notify you) *sigh* I know that I will be in pins and needles until I hear something ... if there is something to hear :confused3

We are going October 23-29. It's only our 2nd time to Disney (Our first was October of 2003-Port Orleans Riverside). We have booked a Magic Your Way package at Port Orleans - Riverside w/park hopper, but no dining. Can someone explain to me what this FREE DINING is, when the current free dining ends and if you think it would be possible for us to add it to our package if this would happen to be the discount that comes out? I booked the trip myself with Disney not through a TA or anything. Any help would be appreciated. Of course I'm just happy to be going to Disney period!
Thanks in advance :)

Now my AAA travel agent told me a while back that if there is a free dining offer I can get it AND the AAA room discount.
