I am interested also. My DH and I have a package for POR for 8 days/7 nights and are paid in full. Am wondering what this will mean for us.

I see you are celebrating your 30th wedding anniversary on your trip early Nov! My DH and I are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary on our trip Nov 3-7 at POR! Funny coincidence!! Have a wonderful trip!! :goodvibes

Now let's hope we can benefit a bit from this "deal"!!

The dates on Mousesavers are split up... What happens if your trip starts within the alotted time, but continues on past it? Anyone know what the policy is on that? Do you still get the rate for the entire trip?

So, I just want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly.

The new discount will be available for travel from 12/10 - 12/25 (and other dates too of course).

We're checking into PoP on 12/8 and checking out 12/13. From what I've read so far, it sounds like we will not be be able to take advantage of the new discount for any portion of our stay, is that correct? :confused3

We saved a bit more than $100 through CAA, so I did get a bit of a break. But I'm to miss the excitement of the new promotion!

You can get the room discount if you are paying for the dining plan. When the dining plan was offered for free you had to pay rack rate. Sometimes, AAA doesn't have any rooms available at the discount rate. Keep trying you should be able to find a discount out there.

I've seen a few posts here where someone said that they booked a AAA discount + dining. Based on what AAA quoted me there wasn't any room discount when packaged with dining. It was the same price I could get direct from Disney. Is this not correct?

Also I read somewhere on this board that someone was able to get dining for $25/adult. How was this done? :confused3

I just did the math, and I'm saving over $615 with my AAA package (8 nights at the GF, 7 day Park Hoppers, Dining Plan). I don't think this Disney deal will come close to topping that. I'm so glad I booked with AAA now!

My DH and I are wondering the same thing.

Contempory, 9 nights (yea!!!) 10 day hopper passes and dining plan for me, DH, and three DS (9, 5,and 5 I only have a double;) )

I haven't done the math :confused3 , but the AAA price always beat the price I was given on the Disney site. Our trip is already paid for, but I migh tcall and ask my AAA TA if this may save us a few $$. If the differance would pay for our gas it would be worth it.

They will do a refund. If not, just rebook...if it is available and cancel the other one.

Wow!!! Loooks like I am going to join AAA!!! :cool1:

I have a couple of ?s, and Iam sorry if they have been already asked. 1st one,we have 2 rooms booked w/AAA at POP for $70. a night in Dec. 17-26. The deal is for something through Dec. 25. Could I book Dec. 17-25 w/ deal then just book the last day by itself? 2nd, this deal is for nonhopping park pass ,well we park hop all of the time , are they going to let me pay extra for a hopping pass, because Iam sure they will let me pay extra for a mod. or a deluxe resort. We have been and stayed w/Disney 15x and you would think I would uderstand them by now :confused3 Marla :earsgirl: Thanks for any reply.

In the past, if you arrive during the discounted time, the whole stay is at the discounted rate. I don't know if it is now.

What I'm reading at Mousesavers, this promotion doesn't start till tomorrow, the 29th. So are we just doing educated guesses now? Or is there somewhere that has the discounted prices? :)

No matter what, I'm going to WDW!!!

Definitely, definitely call them back and make sure they apply the AAA discount. I also did my numbers before calling and she was quoting me HIGHER than the WDW site! I told her it can't be right, she says oh yes, Disney gives me this quote directly. I hang up, do my numbers again, and call her back, left her a voice mail specifying exactly all the options I want and what price I got from the WDW and that hers should be lower. She called me back apologizing; she said the price she had quoted had park hopper included, which I didn't want. It just seems a lot of these agents are not Disney specialists, so it pays to know prices and exactly what you want before you call.

About the $25/adult, I've only read that one time and I've never seen it again on any other threads. Not sure how they got that rate...

Yes, you can do that EZMA.....book the first part and do the last day as room only. Is the 26th the day you are checking out though? If so, then you fall under the restrictions anyway I think. The 25th would be your last night there.

Quick Question ... I check in on 12/03 to 12/09 would the discount rate apply or not because it's up until 12/04 and then it picks up again 12/10.

Yes, you will be fine. The check in date is the one that matters the most. Seems they are putting a cap on check out though, with the 25th.

Memorymakers2669, Yes the 26th is your check out day . Maybe Iam wrong but I thought it said travel must be completed by the 25th. This hole thing is driving me nuts ,I cant keep focused on anything else!!! What do think of the park hopping , do you think they will let us pay extra for that . Iam tired of playing there games! Thanks again Marla :earsgirl:

So, as I'm booked from 12/8 to 12/13, would it make sense for me to make two reservations? Would they even let me do that? We could check in on the 8th, check out on the 10th and then check back in on the 10th :rotfl2:

Probably not worth it, right? :confused3

I don't think this will work for you as I believe the package starts at 5 days / 4 nights. If you check in on the 10th and out on the 13th, that would only be 3 nights.
