Anybody got a Subaru Outback?

We're going car shopping next weekend, and DH is really interested in the Outback. Does anybody have one? What do you like or dislike about it??

ME ME ME!! LOL! I love mine! It is a 2001 and I love it to pieces. It has all the nice toys, very comfy interior, leather heated seats and CD player, lots of stereo speakers.

It handles much better on snow and icy hills than any of my minivans ever did. I highly recommend it. Be forwarned though that the dealers were not bargaining on the prices. Mine is the L.L. Bean Edition though, and that was being touted as hard to get and therefore worth more....

No, but we just bought a Forester.........I love the Outbacks, but they are $10,000 more than the Forester so had to go for the Forester.

Great cars tho... my bro has a Impreza WRX

I don't have an outback--but I have a subaru. A 1985 GL 4x4 purchased new---and I love that little beauty. I think I'll get another 5 or 6 years out of her. I could afford a new car but I really do like the old betsy. The car has been dependable, a pleasure to drive, and so very easy on gas---now how can you beat that.

We do have newer cars---but betsy is my "towncar"----I can turn on dime---- to get into the best parking spots.
