Anybody cook in their room?

Never but I could see myself potentially using the outdoor grills at dvc resorts. I mean, it’s not likely but the idea doesn’t sound too bad.

We have a Dash mini waffle iron that I brought on our last trip. The waffle mix I brought also just required water. They were very good none of us needed syrup. They were super easy to make while we were all getting ready in the morning. I just made enough for us each day. No refrigeration needed. Unplugged as soon as we were done. Cleaning wise I put a wet paper towel in it while still hot, that steams it clean. I've seen people use the mini pancake makers with eggs as well.

Electric hot water kettle lives in my suitcase. No hot dog flavored or oatmeal flavored coffee!
great idea about the electric kettle! Although I see nothing wrong with people heating up WATER in the coffee maker to put in their oatmeal(or other things like that), but never imagined people would cook hotdogs IN the coffee pot,/maker until I read it here on the forums; that is just RUDE to other guests:worried:!

I've said to myself that we're going to cook (when we've gotten a DVC villa) and also that we'll fix sandwiches... but I lie to myself every time :joker:

This next trip we are getting a 1 bedroom villa whole trip. Looking forward to the fridge. Mostly we have stayed in studio and needed to get several food deliveries since mini fridge only holds so much. In studio, did get some frozen meals and microwave cooking. Make toast, add cheese, pop in microwave for 20 sec. But now with 1 bedroom, I still don't plan on real cooking. I do plan on bring an 8 inch frying pan in luggage. Ones in rooms tend to be awful. Nothing like cooking 4 eggs and leaving one stuck in pan.

We tend to do breakfast always, and one other meal in room. Might be a sandwich or a can of beef stew. Yeah, we are about as far from foodies as you can get.

I brought my Insta-Pot and used that for most of our meals. Super easy to throw stuff in there in the morning before hitting up Disney Springs and then come back to a delicious meal for dinner. We are DVC though and in a 2 bedroom villa. My husband normally cooks when we are home so I cook when we are at Disney. That was one of my selling points to my husband to get him to agree with purchasing DVC 😂
