Any traditions you have at WDW?

Well, for starters, we always stay at the same resort (DH does not like change!!! :rotfl: ) either the YC or BC....

Then, on our trip, we always do the Cape May character breakfast

We always eat at Beaches and Cream at least once

We always do the MK on our first full day :) and get there before it opens so we can beat some of the long lines :)

We always get a dole whip :thumbsup2

70 days til we go!!! :banana:

Hubby and I always have to go to the exit of ToT where almost nine years ago during a marching band trip for Magic Music Days, he asked me out on our very first date. We sit there and giggle and remember what it use to be like to be crazy teenagers and how great it is now to be in love and married. :lovestruc

Some traditions....

...always visit MK first and last
...always ride POTC first and last
...always eat dinner at the Garden Grill
...always watch Wishes last night of stay

My mom and I always try to get to EPCOT for lunch the day we arrive and have a Margarita in Mexico! then we are 'happy' the rest of the day

Our traditions include that we always go to Beaches and Cream at least once and order nothing but ICE CREAM. ALso, EPCOT is always our last park, we take a ride on Space Ship Earth and then walk over and enjoy the fireworks. Afterwards we walk the longest way out - slowly - as we know the trip is officially ending!

*Monorail Pub Crawl!!!
*the first park is always EPCOT
*DH is German so we always have to eat at Biergarten

Wow, I really love reading all of these! For us it starts when we leave home for the airport. We listen to our Wishes CD in the car. Once we get to the resort we have to stay up late and watch the Top Seven with whatever annoying girl is hosting it. When we get to MK our first day (always have to do that first) we give each other a group hug as soon as we are through the turnstiles. Other traditions we do in varying order:

Eat a mickey ice cream bar while we wait for the Share a Dream Come True Parade;
I have to ride Peter Pan with my daughter so we can snuggle up and sing the "Think of a Wonderful Thing" song, while my son and husband ride behind us and laugh at us because they know what we are doing;
Ride TTA and laugh at "Paging Mr. Tom Morrow"
Eat tons of junk waiting for Fantasmic;
Go the under ten dollar store in DTD;
Have a Tropical Toucan at RFC;
Get incredibly depressed our last day and tell DH we need to retire near WDW!

I love this thread!!! Everyone has such fantastic traditions! Our traditions for every WDW trip include: 1. Eat first dinner at Le Cellier 2. Rent the sea raycers 3. Ride RnR first thing at MGM 3. Buy an ornament from the resort we are staying at and each park we visit....we have an awesome disney xmas tree
We have only had 2 trips there together, so we are just staring our traditions.

Up until our last trip thi spast April, we always ate at Cape May the first night of our trip. this last trip we changed and ate at the Crystal Palace. I would up with food poisoning, a trip to the ER and spent the rest of my trip in the room. We are going back to Cape May for the next trip!! :rotfl2:

We also always grab a couple of frozen Margarita's in Mexico and watch the birds try to steal everyone's food!

We always do MK the first day and the last day.

We always when we get to WDW, we ride the train around the MK. That's always first! Then we get off ride Splash and BTMRR, then its a sandwich at Columbia Harbour House! :teeth:

god, I can't wait to go back! :banana:

our last nights' meal is always Chef Mickey's. We all have a great time but when we leave the restaurant are a little sad knowing that we are leaving the following day.

A new tradition started two years ago when my DD (age 7 at the time) and I went on Primevil Whirl at AK during the parade. needless to say there were no lines so we rode it 7 times in a row to match her age. Following year DD and I rode it 8 times in a row and this year 9 times in a row....my chiropractor hates to see me return from Disney!! I hope this tradition ends soon.... :rotfl:

Our first night dinner is always the Concourse Seakhouse. Our last night dinner is always Teppanyaki.

Marakesh and Illuminations our first night is rapidly becoming a tradition. Not sure what we do if they ever get rid of Illuminations :confused3

-After checking in at resort, go straight to MK and ride Haunted Mansion. Then ride it again. Then ride it one more time!

-Always miss our first night ADR's (as much as we try, we can never seem to get ourselves to leave the park for dinner), and end up at Cosmic Rays for burgers.

-On the way out of the MK the first night, have to get a Mickey Balloon and take a picture of one of us holding it on Mainstreet.

-Ride Haunted Mansion as last ride of the trip

Taking our DD (2yr old) for her first trip in Oct, so we will have some new ones to add.

1) Always stay at Boardwalk Villas
2) Always get a slice of cheesecake from the Big River Grille and Brewing (by far the best cheesecake I've ever had... and I've had a lot).
3) Always get a rice pudding from Norway in Epcot
4) Always make on trip to Biergarten
5) Always do 'Around the world' at Epcot (One drink, hard liquor or beer, at every country)

but I guess it sounds better to say we have "traditions"!

We always-
Eat at 50"s Prime Time for lunch
Have dinner at Teppanyaki
Get a margarita at Cantina San Angel and take w/ us on El Rio Del Tiempo
Ride Ellens Universe of Energy (for a nice nap)
Kali River Rapids last ride at AK!

We also try to do a "new" activity each trip. Last time we had the character breakfast at Ohana, before that we did the Illuminations Cruise for my sons birthday! Next trip is the Safari Celebration for our Grand Gathering and Mickeys NSSHP :wave2:

At least one lunch at Big River Grille and Brewing Works outside tables.

Hot chocolate during IllumiNations.

We have 2 traditions as such - as soon as we arrive we tend to down bags and head straight for Epcot!!!!

Always have a meal at Chef Mickeys - dinner is just as yummy as breakfast !!!

MGM is always the last park we visit before our flight home...no particular reason it just always seems to have worked out that way so after our 5th visit i guess you could call it a tradition. Oooops that's 3 !!!! :wave2:

Downtown Disney first evening and Epcot is always the first park we visit.:banana:
