since that is the only place i could get ap rates, any comments on the food or should we just plan on eating away from the resort 3 meals a day( at least they have in room coffee so no need for those pesky refillable mugs) Thanks

They have a pretty decent food court. Hubby and I live locally and we head that way every so often for lunch. The restaurant was good food, we just had poor service when we were there so it kind of soured us to it, but the food court is good.

We dined @ Shutters (sit down) last year. Food was okay...not memorable. However, the service was great! Didn't try the food court, but the food looked good and seating area as clean.

The food court is pretty decent but it can get a bit tiring if you're going to eat there every day. When I stayed there last May, we would usually head over to Epcot for food since it was so close :p

If you order the right items, Shutter's can be wonderful! We have dined there twice (DH three times). The wings are WONDERFUL!! The banana bread pudding for dessert is delicious, too! I have enjoyed the snapper entree. I think I remember a very good side salad.

I have ordered things I haven't liked as well, too. The creme brulee was not good. The quesadilla appetizer (mango salsa, I think??)was good but not great.

Order carefully (use the search feature on this board) and you should have a great meal.

I had some crab and corn soup..................wonderful!!!!!!!

The food court is quite nice and actually less expensive than POP!
Which was a rip off. Even the grocery items...milk, fruit...etc. were less at CBR!

We weren't overly impressed with the CBR food court. We try to go to 1 food court on every visit (not including the one where we stay- since we have no choice!) This has been our least favorite to date.
