ebay, make phone calls to relatives, eat soup, work on writing a novel, paint.......but it's just me.....and it would depend on how I felt...If i was worshiping the porcelain throne I might do none of the above. I am like Vital in that if I nap during the day it screws up my sleep that night.

Well, I am home today with DS. His school is closed for the 7th day due to the freak storm of October 12 in Buffalo. He is (thankfully) going back tomorrow.

I slept in, baked a cake and am now finishing the home made pizza dough for tonight's dinner. Such manly adventures for me!

Has anyone been contacted out of the blue from someone you went to high school/college with?

I got the strangest email this weekend, from someone on ClassMates.com. He said he was in the class that graduated before me but I checked an old yearbook (yes, I keep them handy) and couldn't find him!

So.... I responded that I think he had the wrong person, etc... he states... No, I left in 9th grade and I know what you were wearing the last day I saw you. I moved, now I'm back... OH MY GOSH!!!

Ninth Grade, for me was 1976 - 30 years ago!! How can anyone remember what someone was wearing 30 years ago. Then... it hit me. I started to remember him or at least something he did.

I barely knew this guy and his last day of school before he moved, he left a note with a HUGE teddy bear in the office with my name on it. It was signed by his first name only and it took my girlfriends and I DAYS to figure out who it was from.

So... anyone ever been contacted from someone out of the blue like that?
