Any Single Disney Men Out There?

Ok, where is the sign up for the Disney Dream Man? I'm a 42 yo widow and I think my kids might finally be at the age where they are sick of hearing me say, "ok, I just booked another trip to Disney..." (considering I booked the upcoming one as soon as I got back from my last trip!) I'm sad, I think I may soon be visiting Disney solo. :sad2:

forgive me if I missed any "sign up" info lol...I couldn't read through 186 pages, (I'm blonde...AND tired, in no way is that conducive to cerebral clarity!) :rotfl2:

Age is just a number. I've dated both younger and older men, and to be honest, I would have to say I prefer younger men. My BF happens to be almost my exact age (he's 3 months younger), and we get along great, but for the most part I think younger men (now I'm not talking about 20 years younger or anything that extreme) are more serious about what they want out of life. Just my opinion.

Can you say yummy????

Ok, I read back a little bit. Am I correct and thinking that there is a December meet? ::dialing frantically to get reservations LOL:: If so, who's going? Anyone? I think that'd be a lot of fun! (pay no mind to the fact I just got back last week!!) But, I love an excuse to get back to The World!

You know I always thought the opposite was true but I'm finding this statement to be true more and more lately.

This 23 year old kid seems to understand the meaning of treating a woman with respect and desiring a true relationship more than most men my age and older that I've come across.

Maybe the women are just getting back at men for going after the younger women for centuries....but I have never asked a woman her age and unless she gets asked for her ID and can't prove she's 21....I don't really care. As far as what I prefer, intelligence, passion, romance, sense of humor (wacky) childish and healthy top my list. Oh....and she has to LOVE Disney!

I'd never go after a 20 something cause I'm not likely to catch her anyway. I prefer one who dances at close to the same speed I do :)

I don't believe that dating someone younger is always a guarantee of finding someone who wants a relationship, nor is dating someone older a way to avoid having a relationship. I have met women younger than me, older than me, and my age who have had differing opinions on relationships. Some women, both young and old, have said they are not interested in a relationship...they just want to "date." And then I have met women in the same age range that are very interested in finding a relationship. It all depends on the chemistry of the two people. When the chemistry is there  watch the sparks and smiles fly. And when it is not...well it was a nice "date."

No matter what the age or circumstances, there are absolutely NO guarantees in life - sometimes even when sparks fly.

I think you are right. There are no guarantees in life!!! However, when it's right, it's right... and you just "know".

True, but sometimes the sparks of lust are mistaken for the sparks of  .

As Kimmielee says, when it is right, you will know...it just may take a few "feels good" people before getting to that all important "feel right" :cloud9:  stage.

Don't get me wrong, I totally agree with you Kimmielle -- when it's the right one, then it's magical. I met the man of my dreams online (nothing affiliated with Disney) 9 weeks ago and we are blissfully happy. Within 2 weeks of meeting in person we were already acting like an "old married couple" (by my mother's standards), and I moved in with him a couple of weeks ago. Some say too fast - but like you said - when it's right, it's right!!! :cloud9:

Speaking of marriage, I read this earlier today. Being at the top end of their age range I guess it means I should be looking to get married soon. :rotfl:

I figure you just can't put time frames/age ranges on these things. If it's meant to be it's meant to be.

Interesting article RER! Perhaps you can have a Disney Wedding on our cruise? Pirate Wench and I could be your grooms women... :rotfl2:

Good for you Sandy! When it is right... there is no other feeling in the world to top it! :cloud9:

Isn't it amazing how anyone else in your past no longer matters since you found the "one"?
