Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

The bands are shipped via UPS - generally no delivery on Sat. and Sun.
I completed my order on Friday also and am expecting delivery today or tomorrow. Please post when your package arrives.

i customized my bands friday morning by midnight it had locked and said it was shipping soon so i should hopefully be expecting it throughout the days.
 
I customized mine Friday Night as well. The status is still processing. Would be nice to go home and find them on the porch! I will post when I get them!

yeah on the app it says processing and will arrive soon the ups drivers usually make my route always towards the end of the night leaving package around 5pm but i will still be at work by then...

Mine did not come from my "normal" driver/route. It was on a special truck that came through about 3 hours early. (And yes, my normal truck did come through that day, right on time ;))
 

Quick question for those not able to access FP + - does it say 'FP + booking window must be within timeframe of trip' or something like that?? We are going Sept 22, staying SSR, and I have been to MDE and have added my ressie, linked our tickets but dont seem to have any ability to 'customize' the Bands or book FP+ (link on right hand side of 'profile' page works, but then wont allow me to do anything on next page? Wondering if others have had similar experience? Thx! :thumbsup2

I don't believe SSR is a testing resort.

Sounds right. IIRC I ordered mine on a Thursday and received them Monday AM. I didn't look at the box to see what shipping method they used to send them.

I actually got the shipping notice from Disney Destinations about an hour after UPS had dropped them off. :rotfl:
 
would be nice if it does arrive before work but i only got 40 minutes till i leave and would have to hope for its in my doorstep when i get home at night...
 
I ordered mine Friday too, but mine says customizable until August 26. We don't check in until 9/29, so will ours not ship until after 8/26?

We check into the Beach Club on 9/27 and MDE says that we have until 8/27 to customize. I am assuming that they will ship when we are 30 days out.

I can't get anything after September 28 either. I did NOT receive an email from Disney telling me I could use this - just stumbled across FP+ selections while on MDE. Online chat Cast Member told me that I'm not part of the testing if I didn't receive an email or have a magicband linked to my account. I'll just cross my fingers and hope that they are late with the email or linking my magicband.

I was able to access fastpass plus, but I was not able to customize my bands until I completed online check-in. If you have already completed online check in, previous posters have suggested modifying your check in information to trigger the magic bands.

I've gone through selecting and changing FP+ and ordering/customizing bands all without any invitation email. Or any email whatsoever. Their confirmation system is pretty terrible -- sometimes I get an email when I cancel dining, but almost never when booking. Never got confirmation emails for MNSSHP ticket orders - only one MNSSHP ticket cancellation.

For me, the Magic Band page was blank until I did online check-in. As soon as I did that and clicked on Magic Bands and Cards, I was able to set up and customize a Magic Band order.

We have a package reservation, so no actual tickets to link, but our Magic Your Way tickets appeared linked to MDE automatically about the time FP+ came available last Thursday.

The app says I have 1 day left to customize. The website says I have 3 or 4 days, depending where you look. I'm 32 days from my Room Only at CSR and 34 from my MYW package at Poly.

Random aside: the "days left" calculation isn't the only reason I think they need to employ some people who can program simple math. Just about every FP+ grouping offered to me included something that said it overlapped with dining at x:xx, even though I don't have any ADRs that do so. Either they think meals take 3.6-5.3 hours or they've forgotten that there are 7 as opposed to 5 days in a week or something else.

This worked for me. Thank you! I had already checked in for our POR stay and have been checking daily to see if I could customize bands. It wasn't an option. Then I read the suggestion to modify check in information and that worked. The site says that today is my last day to customize them, so I almost missed out. :scared:
 
So I haven't read everything on this thread. But I am staying first at ASMu (which I know is not a test resort) on a package.. Then I move to POR Ro only which is using MB. Ihave not done my online check in nor have I had any MagicBand or FP+ options. If I do become MB & FP+ eligible through POR does anyone know if it would link to the tickets on my ASMu package?

Kinda confusing I know.
 
I emailed to WDW Guest Relations because of my concerns and questions regarding our Split Stay and MagicBands/FP+ in September.

I have just received and answer which demonstrates that CMs seem to have just little knowledge of different scenarios regarding the testing phase of MyMagic+.

They recommended me to BUY SEPERATE TICKETS for the split stay. Well, I told them in my email that our first stay is a package, we definetely won't buy additional tickets instead of just adding days. Not a very magical answer ;-)

This makes me come to the following decision:
I will stop thinking about the whole MyMagic+ situation now. Our vacation starts in 20 days and if something is not working when we are there they will help us to make it work - everything will be OK. The more often I log in into MyDisneyExperience, the more stressful it gets.

I guess CMs are plunged in at the deep end at the moment.
Let's wait and see :cool2:

I'm not stressing it either. If we can only use the magic bands the 2 days of our room only so be it. If it works more than that, great! It's going to me a wonderful 12 days at Disney world either way.
