Where to dine?

Not used to the Universal parks and going in May.
Where are some great places to eat and which parks?
I heard there is a Marvel character dining? Any other themed dining?
Do you need reservations ahead of time and what is the reservation window (staying on property at Adventurra)

That's only themed dinner.

No window, you can make reservations for dinners at any time. For the marvel it's a ticketed event so you'll just need to go online to purchase. They don't run it everyday

Take a look at the menus for the in park and CityWalk restaurants (the CityWalk restaurants are easily accessible from either park, literally they're all within a 5min walk from the front gates).

I would personally suggest Thunder Falls Terrace in Jurassic Park / Islands - it's really good BBQ at a pretty reasonable price, quick, AC (or outdoor seating, next to the River Adventure drop), and generally not too busy.

Pat O'Briens (CityWalk) is good food and nightly dueling pianos, unless it's closed for a special event.
