Hi all,
A dear friend and neighbor is going through a divorce. She has had a small side business making and selling cards and jewelry through small shops in our area. She'd like to expand this to help replace some of the income she'll lose b/c of the divorce. I'd like to help her if I can, since I am a bit more tech savy than she is (though I am NO expert).

I'd appreciate any suggestions for some places to start looking if anyone has experiene with this.

Thanks so much!

I just switched my domain over to hostgator.com via treasuretrooper.com . . . TreasureTrooper is a rewards site. It's $9.95 a month for what I signed up for, and if you use the code "jury" it takes $9.94 off of your first month making it just one cent. Then after a month, you get paid $40 from TreasureTrooper for completing the offer.

There may be better deals out there long term, but with the TreasureTrooper sign-up it'd be like 5 months free.

I had fallen on down times with my business, so I chose freewebs.com
Then I purchased a $1.99 domain name from yahoo and redirected it to the freewebs site.

If you already own a domain name...then just redirect it to the new site.

If you need the yahoo cheap domain name (your own www) just google $1.99 yahoo domains. You will be redirected. However if you just visit yahoo to purchase it directly, some reason it doesnt advertise it.

I just purchased another 2 days ago.
