Elaine - AMAZING news! I just KNEW things were going to be ok. Knew it knew it knew it. Wow on your EDD being moved up. So, what is the date? Early June, right? Was DH with you? I am sure that heartbeat made you get a lump in your throat. It truly is amazing. Best of luck in to you in the coming 8.5 months. I hope the rest of the ride is smooth :O)

Carla - ugh on the salad! I have been making/bringing my own. Not as good, but I know nothing "skeevy" is in it. How are you feeling??

How is everyone else doing?

WOW!! I've been away from the thread for a while and I come back to see Fabulous news that Carla is pregnant and Elaine is pregnant and lots more of you too!! That is so awesome!!!!

We're still trying. My doctor wants me to lose 25 pounds before we try another cycle, so I have till December to accomplish the goal :)

Elaine- I am so happy for you! I will be keeping my fingers crossed no matter what!

(I think everyone who gets pregnant on here should initiate me as an unofficial Aunt... :teeth: )

Ash- so glad to see you out of the closet! hehe. And yes- it's the longest wait ever. Don't you remember my whining?

Imarriedgrumpy- BIG congrats to your DH and you! I hope that it all works out and you'll be telling us about your BFP soon!

Psssssst. Anyone wanna sneak a peek?

She's still a she!!

Lots of luck to you, Ash. There are lots of people much more knowledgeable than I am about cycles, but I think it seems pretty slow to everyone.

Let's just hope your offspring don't turn out looking like your siggie pictures. :teeth:
:rotfl: I was thinking the same thing!!!!! Though I usually really do love squirrels (wait is that not a squirrel and maybe something else? :teeth: )

Anywho, thanks all. I'm still a bit cautious about everything. The bleeding at least can be explained and from all I read it can heal on its own and not a real worry to have in the early stages. I'm a bleeder in all other things so maybe I shouldn't be shocked! It is slowing down and today it was so much less compared to normal... a lot lighter. But I'll be a good girl and listen to my doc to see if she can see anything else in the images. I know the tech took tons to give to her and a couple for me.

Estimated due date is now June 2nd instead of June 6th. So not hugely far off, but not quite as early. Of coure I expect that date to change after a while, but we'll see. Luis was with me and he was smiling the whole time. We do hope the rest will go easy for us. I know the last few weeks have been so rough on me.

mickeybar, my first "symptoms" were peeing tons, not sleeping well and having odd dreams, and feeling very hot. I also still have some AF like cramps and am told never to worry about those since you can get those from stretching/pulling. Oh and being tired... very very tired. Since you said you normally have 33 day cycles, I would wait one more day and test again. After that I would call your doc and see if they can get you in for a blood test :)

Carla, I hear you on the salads. It is so hard to get it without nasty stuff on top. I am not so keen on cold meats anyway, but definitely yuck on the goat cheese. I cannot stomach that no matter what.

Been lazy since I came home. Kind of tired but have choir practice for church tonight. And I have to get off my rear and cook us some food. Fortunately that foreman grill of ours has been a lifesaver! Makes supper in 10 mins flat ;)

Elaine,

I am so, so happy to hear this news! When you said earlier that your hcg numbers were continuing to rise, I was so hoping it was something like this! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Edited to add, please take it easy and make sure you do what the doctor tells you to do!

I took far too long to type that post. My DH came home in the middle of me typing.

Kristy, wishing you and your DH all the best. I am sure you will do great with the weightloss! I had lost about 70 pounds a couple years ago, so if you ever need support, I'll be glad to be there!

Becky, you sure get to be an Aunt for us when it happens! I'll expect it actually ;) Seriously y'all know more about what is going on than my family does! What an awesome pic of your baby! Such a clear shot :)

Oh and I forgot, Ash, yes it sure does feel like it takes forever to start when you are trying. These last 10 months or more have felt like forever for me!

What's up with not liking goat cheese? :rotfl:

Actually, I really do like goat cheese- I like MOST stinky cheeses, bleu cheese being my favorite. DH thinks I'm disgusting. Whatever.

Sorry Becky, I hate all that stinky cheese. Blue cheese is enough to make me gag! Yuck!! I like the milder cheese and really love Havarti. I think that has to be one of my favorites! Ricotta is soooo good too!

Congratulations to everyone with BFP's!!

Elaine..I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well and you don't have any more scares.

Carla, I'm so happy for you!! Although I don't post on this thread often, I have been following everything you've gone through. I'm so happy that it's finally happening for you!

I stopped taking BCP back in June. I have been very regular (28 days) since then. AF was supposed to come yesterday and today I still have nothing. I took a HPT, but it's negative so far. Wondering if I should wait until I'm a week late to test again. I don't know what to think. My DS was a surprise, so this is all new to me. I never had many symptoms of pregnancy with my DS...no morning sickness, no sore ****s, etc. I found out I was pregnant with DS a week after I finished my law school finals, so I really don't know what symptoms I had since I thought my fatigue and being late was stress from finals. I'm so anxious for a BFP!! I'm analyzing every little possible symptom! I went to make me a sandwich to bring for lunch today and decided not to just in case. I haven't mentioned anything to DH yet, so thanks for letting me vent here! I don't want to get him excited for nothing.

Well, we just finished BDing all week. Goodness I need a break! :rotfl2: . Now the two week wait. Anyone else waiting? When might I experience any symptoms?

Elaine- that's awesome that everything is great with the baby :) I'm so happy for you.

Becky- I like goat cheese too. And had been craving blue cheese so I bought some. But then again. I am all about the cheese ;)
I openly admit that I still eat lunch meat and hot dogs. Went through a whole corn dog phase for a while too. I just get them fresh sliced at the deli.

skuttle- At first I wasn't sure if I was really pg. I was tired and was a few days late but thought that DH and I had missed our days. I thought that the symptoms I had were just from travelling so much and stress from dealing with my family. The year before they had me so stressed that I did actually skip a period (and that was on the pill) so I thought it was that at first. When I was 3 days late I decided to test just in case and lo and behold- PG.

Well, I bought a couple of tests tonight when I went to the grocery store, but I'm going to try to wait to test again until this weekend. I have been a bit more tired lately, and also my lower back has been hurting and I've had a stuffy nose. I had the stuffy nose when I was pregnant with DS. We'll see...I'm so anxious, I'll probably end up testing tomorrow morning again.

ME TOO!

In fact, I bought a box of frozen corn dogs- you know, in case of a craving-emergency?

But- our freezer acted up (long story) and they got freezer burned really badly- I didn't know this though. Anywho- one night I got my craving, and popped 2 into the toaster oven- took one bite, and literally CRIED because they tasted so awful they were inedible, but I wanted corn dogs so badly.

Anyway- back to your regularly scheduled TTC programming... :rolleyes1

Well, I went and had my ultrasound. The doctor was not called in since everything looked good. She estimates me at actually closer to 7 weeks (6w5d) than 6. It would make sense since my numbers for the qants were 14K and 38K the last time I took them. She believes she saw a subchorionic bleed which would be causing the clots and the like. Probably why they are always brown too. From what she can see, it looked like it happened after implantation. If that is the case and it never gets to be too big (she said mine did look small) it will not be a cause for concern. My doc will call me later today/tomorrow after looking over everything.
But... I saw the heart beating... that nearly made me cry.

I'm skipping a lot, I know, but I had to come in when I could :)

I'm so happy for you! We were all worried! Breathe a sigh of relief now. :grouphug:

Aunt Flo just left here, getting ready for month 4 of trying. Next week is the big BD week, so I'm trying to gear up for that. Here we go again...

Okay...very weird. When I was pregnant with DS, I also went through a corn dog phase. Bought a big box from Sam's and ate every last one of them!

Becky...great pic! Wow! How exciting!!

Skuttle...keep us posted! You have strong will-power having tests at home and not using them. Whenever I buy some, they sit in my cabinet, calling my name.... :listen: I always test too early b/c I get too excited. ;)

Today is my 5 year anniversary - so that is exciting! I told DH that maybe my body was waiting until this month so we could conceive on our anniversary! Ha! :sunny:

Happy Anniversary Kelly!! :yay: Good luck TTC this month - that would be a great anniversary gift! :goodvibes

Well, AF is almost gone & since this is my first month charting & TTC, I was wondering if someone here could answer a question for me...

After AF ends, is there an average number of days until you O? I figure this is going to be different for everyone, but just trying to figure out what days we should really focus on BD this month! :rotfl: Is there a certain CD that is most common to O? I'm currently on CD 6... :confused3

Hubby is away all weekend for his National Guard Drill, so we're hoping to start BD next week!! :thumbsup2

I've also seen some mention here on not taking Advil, eating lunchmeat, etc. - is there a good listing somewhere that you can direct me to that lists everything I should stay away from? TIA! :)
