Any one on 7-29-06 / 7 Night Western!!!! Is Back

Hi guys hope you are all well.

It is a horrible wet & windy night here, and IM glad IM inside with a mug of cocoa

Anyway, I was sitting on the sofa watching TV with Dave when he says,

"You know I really enjoyed our holiday this year, I think I could go again in 2008, where are we points wise?"

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
I jumped of the sofa and went to get the DVC book and we worked out with the points we'd have (Bearing in mind we've already borrowed for the med cruise  ) We should be able to borrow and we are thinking of doing
5 nights in a studio (Poss VWL), 4 nights 1 bed @ BWV and 4 nights 1 Bed SSR or something like that :goodvibes

We have to do 2 weeks to make it worthwhile for us, with the jet lag, cost of flights etc. Time wise it will probably be around late July/early aug again.

It seems daft that im thinking about 2008, but still its disney

:wave2:

:thumbsup2

Helen, That is great. See if you get the points on the Med Cruise that will even help. Now you can justify that to Dave. :sunny:

Great news Helen! Just gotta love how those DVC points makes you want to take vacations :thumbsup2 Usually I'm always the one who plans our Disney trips and gets all excited about things....but when the announcement of DVC at AKL came out John showed his true Disney colors :earsboy:

Have a great weekend everyone!

Great plan Helen!!! :thumbsup2 We borrowed to get four of us into two cabins for the Med...and so we had very few left. Well, the deal on our September cruise was so good, Tom felt we HAD to add on again!!! It works out great!

We just added Abby's friend Tine, who sailed with us in July, to going with us in the Med. Both girls are sooooo excited!!! It will be better for all of us if Tine goes too.

Last night was Trunk or Treat at the kids school...tailgating and then going car to car for candy. It is fun. ONly it was 35 degrees!!!! And a bit misty midway through the evening! Iain went as Will Turner...my blonde one! UGH! He was a riot, as we even darkened his hair and added in dark eyebrows. No one could tell who he was! Alec was Commodore Norrington! He looked amazing!!! If only Tom would download so I could upload!!!

Marci...we are praying!

Great weekend all!

Valerie -- great picture of you and your family!

Flo -- she is about the same. She continues to take baby steps each day, so we are hoping she can get to a regular room soon.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Marci, This is good that she keeps taking baby steps. It is better then nothing. More :wizard: and prayers that shw will get to a regular room soon.

Marci...more prayers!!!!! Keep believing!!!! How many gals in your family???? Especially those that are there helping you share the load?

Thank you for your praise of Abby. It was a really good night. Thank God for my sister being able to do Abbs hair. That means I get Gabs for her makeup! The fun part of family!!! :goodvibes

Good weekend all!

One more for today...starting yesterday afternoon our Libby...the dog, got a hold of Alec's candy bag from our Trunk or Treat event at school. She ended up eating the majority of candy...wrappers and all! Every hour and a half all night she was throwing up. Late in the night she even lost a bit of blood. As of about noon...she is fine. We are so grateful!!!!!!

AWW poor Libby, glad she is feeling better.

This week is the worst week for our dogs, what with halloween tomorrow and guy fawkes night on Sunday, it means fireworks. I love fireworks @ wdw but I really wish that people couldn't buy them for private use. I think organised displays are great. They really freak my dogs out. It would be fine if people used them on the specific dates so that people were prepared. But no for some reason they went of last night and really spooked Sally. She was out in the garden when they went of, ran in and sat shakin all night.

Sorry rant over , just want to get this week over.

Valerie...what a great pic of your family! I wish we could take the kids to WDW or DL during this time but its too hard to take them out of school for a Halloween party at Disney....I don't think the teachers would like it ;)

Tif...what a great pic of your girl. They all look beautiful!

We actually started putting Christmas decorations up today. We usually try to get a head start since we have 5 family birthdays in November, 4 in December, together with all the holidays and the boys playing winter baseball....well if we don't start early it gets too stressful.

Take care all and have a safe and Happy Halloween :maleficen
