We received a PIN for being a regular at Walt Disney World Resort. It's for stays between 4/28-8/14/13 for 5 nights and 6 days. Any one else get this offer? Wondering if it means that we could get a PIN in the near future for free dining ~ here's hoping!

Lots of people have gotten that PIN. DH an I both received it via email at the beginning of this month. It came via regular mail a few weeks later. :goodvibes

Nope we haven't gotten a good pin in like 4 years we got 1 last year but we couldn't use it. That was the only and only in those 4 years.

Usually you only get a PIN when you are an IRregular. "Regulars" get less because they know you re likely to return. Unlike other hotel chains, it's not a reward but a bribe.

After 20 trips in a row (once a year) for 8 days,I have never received any pin codes. certainly wish I had

We go every year, and we get PINs every year. We even get them when we are already booked for the timeframe covered by the PIN. :goodvibes

What kind of PIN was it, like a substantial discount offered? Only asking b/c I just started hearing about PINs and was wondering if it was a better offer than what they currently offer the public. I think I received one in my mom's email but accidentally deleted it. lol We aren't going any time soon though anyways. Next trip will be end of August/early Sept. :cool1:

I priced out quotes with my PIN for severel people booked with the public summer promo so they could compare. Most were very similar. One of the comparisons was a difference of less than $2. :rotfl:

We hve been to WDW 21 times in the last 8 years and have YET to get a PIN emailed or mailed to us. We did have one attached to my DW name a couple years back, but if I had not called and asked I would not have known about it. Not sure how that is good customer marketing:sad2:

Less than $2?!! :lmao: That's weird Disney's marketing dept. would even waste time creating these "PIN offers" and sending them out to customers for that kind of "Discount". Maybe they think most people will not do the price comparisons and just take the pin offered b/c it's an "elite and private offer".

Well, the PIN dates started on April 28, so it was a bigger timeframe than the GP offer, but yeah, the savings were not a whole lot different.

We've been going every year for a few years now and get PINs all the time, both snail mail and email. My heart always skips a beat or two whenever I see something from Disney Destinations. pixiedust: Just good luck, I guess.

As an AP holder, I go to WDW 4-6 times a year and have never received a PIN.:( I guess Disney knows they have me hooked and don't need to. However, when I was there Oct/Nov. I stayed offsite for the first time. I then skipped my winter trip this year and in about two weeks will again be staying offsite at Wyndham Bonnet Creek. I'm hoping WDW might send me a PIN to try to get me back onsite.:rotfl: If, not I'll be at Wyndham Bonnet Creek my next trip too.

Funny thing is, several years ago my mom got a PIN. She lives with me and the only time she's ever been to WDW is when I've taken her. I was so excited, but when I called to book they told me I couldn't use it, even though we were in the same household. They said it was her PIN and she had to be there (even though I could bring proof that we were in the same household and she lived with me).

I have received a pin every year and have been every year so that theory isn't true.

Usually my pin is for free dining and that saves me $1900. Not going this year because Disney didn't send out free dining pins for the summer.

The pin is a little bit better- $100 or so....

I have gotten 2 pins in the mail and there was no difference in what I booked. It might seem your getting a deal, but your not. If a offer for "room only" discount comes out for end of august (I was hoping for free dining). Is it cheaper to stay at another hotel than values for the higher discont? Going aug 25/30 at AOA LM..Thanks!

YES!!!! We did receive a PIN for free dining with extended dates beyond what was recently released to the public. Looks like we will be planning another Disney trip for late fall/early winter!:cool1::yay:
