We're at the 20 day countdown now! I started packing some things I could today. Now if I could just get my travelocity tickets to link so I can book fastpass+. Have customized magicbands in hand, but can't do fastpass+ bc my tickets won't link.

We're in Indiana too. We check in Oct 12th. We got Mickey mail last week and our Magic Bands this week!!

We arrive October 19 and received our luggage tags & Magical Express paperwork yesterday....I expect we will receive our Mickey mail this week.

October 19th arrival, too, from Tennessee! We have until the 19th to finish customizing our MB. I am hoping everything ships after that. Sooo excited!!

We got our MB's Friday of last week. Our customize date was Wednesday.

Even the ship sticker said next day air. I was surprised being our trip is 26 days out.

This just makes me more excited, tomorrow is 26 days till arrival and I can't wait to add one more thing to my "don't forget" pile


So far I got my photopass+ voucher, the magic express book, the disney Visa card, the 10th anniversary card for my partner, my not so scary tickets, and soon to arrive magicbands.

Have you tried calling guest services and speaking to the Internet help desk. I did that before I started the MB process based on a tip I read on here

Yes. I called at least 8 times to guest services, help desk, and ticketing services...and travelocity, but noone has been able to help me bc they are travelocity tix....Disney doesn't recognize the travelocity number. Are your tix from travelocity?

We got our ME vouchers and yellow tags awhile back; I set up ME directly on their webpage and got the packet a week later.

I guess there's no, set in stone, timeframe as to when things are shipped out. Mickey mail seems to be around the 30 day mark so all of us checking in around the 19th of October will hopefully get our packets this week.

Woke up to a UPS My Choice email saying I should be getting a delivery for Tuesday from HARTE-HANKS RESPONSE MNGMNT. After a quick googling a post on this board inquired if someone else's MagicBands said that name as the sender's address so I can only assume that and the fact that its shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air that tomorrow my MagicBands will be in hand!!!!

Time to do my happy dance!

I don't want to get your hopes up, but I got my bands the same morning I got the email. There should be a tracking number in the email so you can check.

Oh I checked, its in Louisville, KY right now. It says by EOD on Tuesday and they've been pretty spot on for what they quote as delivery times in the past.

The hard part is not calling up the local office and saying HOLD IT there for me I'll pick it up before work instead of you coming to my house as their facility is just down the road from work.

I still have not received a letter or e-mail, but when I was looking in MDE over the weekend it finally gave me an option to customize our Magic Bands and select FP+. Woo Hoo!

For those who have been waiting and wondering if you will be selected to participate, here are our details...

Staying at BLT on DVC points and have APs linked in MDE (I had read several reports that APs won't count for the test - I can now confirm this is WRONG!).

On Friday, 9/13, I checked the Disney Experience site and was able to customize our bands...it said to do so by midnight...keep in mind that I didn't have any email from Disney telling us we had been selected. Then last night, 9/15, I get an email telling us that we were selected and had until 10/3 to customize our info. We arrive at AKV Kidani Villas (DVC) on 10/13. That's cutting it close, so we'll see if we get them in time. The site does say that the bands could be sent to our home or straight to the resort.

I was hoping that we could do FP+ for dining and entertainment as well, but so far the only FP+ that I can do are attractions. I did read that you can also do the traditional FP in addition to FP+, but I don't know if that is true or not?

One way or the other, paper tickets, bands, FP+...it doesn't really matter, we are EXCITED for our first family trip to Disney followed by a fabulous Disney Cruise!

I don't know but I am having mine sent to work to be safe!

Also to chime in on the discussion on the emails, as far as I know I did not get an email about FP+ and/or Magic Bands. I didn't notice one anyway. I had been checking the FP+ and Magic Bands links on MDE every single day for a couple of weeks to no avail and then on 9/13 they finally let me schedule my fast passes and customize my bands.

I check in on 10/18 and no Mickey Mail for me yet either. I booked directly with Disney.

I check in Oct 19 and I got my Mickey mail and magical express packet today!!!! It all came together! Yayyyy!!!
