I've just checked out that link and it says the 'official' height restriction is going to be 35" - which means DD will be able to ride easily!!!! She will be SOOOOOOOOOOO thrilled as Stitch is her number one favoutrite Disney character (and my second favourite after Tigger obviously!!!!)
Oh this is just great! We're there from 3rd to 24th so should be able to get in quite a few 'goes' on THIS one!
Thanks Dan for the link - you've made my day!!!!!!
Well, I guess we'll just have to cross our fingers and hope that we hit a *soft opening* for our Halloween trip....otherwise we'll just have to wait until January...
Please forgive my question as I am naive to grand openings of rides and such...
If the AP preview is Nov 5,6 & 7 and the grand opening is the 16th, where do we stand on Nov 8-12 (we are not AP holders)? Will the ride be open to the general public at this time?

It's not uncommon for new attractions to be open between the preview and the official/grand opening. Kind of an "open" secret, sometimes referred to as a "soft" opening.
We'll be there for the AP preview through the following week. Although I'm an AP holder, the rest of my family is not, so hoping for some type of opening for the rest of them.
We have APs and will be there for the first day of the preview. How does this work? Is the attraction open all day or certain times? I'm assuming you walk up and show them your AP to get in?
