Any new DVC SSR owners get any closing documents yet

Has anyone seen or heard anything about the closing for SSR? I did read it was pushed back a bit but not sure how long a bit it.
I leave on Thursday and was hoping to have real member id cards for my trip not the paper temp one.

We bought in December and have not seen our final closing documents yet.

However, we do have our real member ID card. They came a couple of months ago.

I recently spoke with MS regarding a problem with logging on the new website.

While I had her on the line, I inquired about not getting our Vacation Magic magazine as well as our closing date.

She was very pleasant to talk to and said we wouldn't get the magazine until after closing. When I inquired about that, she looked up our account, stating we were scheduled for closing around June 4th, but that closings were way behind schedule.

I asked then how would we know when we closed? Her reply was that we would definitely know. I pressed the issue and asked if it would be like osmosis? She laughed and said we would just know.

I figure we will know when we see it debited out of our checking account.

I called, too. I knew it was supposed to begin being deducted in May, but I wanted to know exactly how much would be deducted. They reassured me we'd get a letter in the mail before the first payment is withdrawn.

Gosh, we haven't closed yet, but not only did we get our 'real' membership cards, but we also got the last issue of Vacation Magic

Yes, we did too. I'm glad they don't wait until closing to give us those things!

I recall that the payment date choices were the 1st or 15th and that the first one would be in May. Has that been postponed???

I received my mortgage satisfaction paper today. The letter said that the mortgage satisfaction was recorded. But, I don't know if that means it closed or not...

I called last week and was given the same message about "we're running behind, you'll receive notice before automatic payments are deducted and as soon as you close you'll be notified". It was all said in very calming tones so I do think the CM was trying to be reassuring. I have ressies for 5/23 and I'm promising myself not to panic until 5/21 about the closing (last day to record the Deed of Trust before my check in date). I figure they'll make it work for those of us who have this 1st few of weeks worth of reservations.

I remember receiving a document that specified what the automatic deduction would be and on what date -- although I'd have to go searching to find the paper. Is this date only approximate? I think I had a choice of either May 15 or June 1. I think I chose June 1.

I just found all my paperwork and our date for starting payments is May 15.So far have not recieved a letter from MS stating when they will start deducting $ The $ is all set aside but I would like knowing these things in advance-one less thing to confuse my bookkeeping
