Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

I just talked to IT again and was again told that I cannot link PAP's until they are activated (used at least once). I was told that if the will call confirmation # is linked to a resort reservation, then maybe that's how people are getting their AP's linked to MDE. So for those of you who linked AP's did you have your will call # linked to a reservation first?

I was also told that my personalization of magic bands disappeared from MDE because they weren't supposed to be released for Nov yet and that I'll be able to customize them starting 28 days before arrival, until 10 days before arrival. I asked how a friend of mine was able to customize hers yesterday for her Dec trip and how dozens of people online have been able to customize theirs for Nov & Dec and he said he wasn't sure but that they shouldn't have been able to. He told me I should wait to receive an invite, 28 days before arrival, in order to customize my magic bands :confused3

I called IT back a little while later (a different # too) and was told by that CM that I am eligible to customize & receive magic bands but for some reason, the system dropped them. The CM said that he and his colleague were both unable to get them to appear in my account and they didn't know why. He said I may have to wait for them to reappear. In the meantime, he's going to escalate the IT ticket to see if someone higher up or with more experience can help.

If I can't get FP+, I'd at least like to have customized bands.

I had the exact same experience today and I'm beyond annoyed. Please let me know if you find out how to fix this problem. Thanks!

We are going to be at Pop Century Nov. 11-20, have customized our bands and secured FP+ for all 9 days.

My question is this:
We are AP holders, but purchased 2 day tickets so that we would be eligible for free dining. On MDE account, both our AP's and the 2 day KTTW tickets show up. Anyone have experience removing the 2 day ticket from the Magic Bands to save for a future trip?

We don't want to accidentally use those two day tickets (because they're attached to our MDE acct. and therefore our bands) when we can use our AP's for this trip.

Is it as simple as deactivating the 2 day tickets once we get to Disney?

I also had the same thing happen today. Must be something going on with there system. My FP+ selections are still there.

According to reports, yes. Just go to guest services and let them know you don't want to use those tickets yet and would like them removed from your MDE account. Others report being able to do this.

anyone else have this issue: I'm at 58 days out, at 65 days out I was able to set up and personalize my MB's. Since then I have set up my FB+'s and completed online check-in. (which took me til today to fully go thru and work. Now today I noticed the the "Presonalize Magicbands" option now is back to "Manage Magicbands" Is this something I should worry about and call Disney or do you think it is just the wonderful internet site acting up???

Yep exactly the same thing happened to me - I am at 58 days today and customised my MBs about one week ago and yesterday they disappeared
I called Disney and they said that the option to customise was an error and shouldn't have been available so far in advance - therefore they have been removed
I am hoping that the re-appear in a couple of weeks

Exactly the same thing here. We are at 49 days out and now the page says "manage magicbands" again. :confused3 All of my FP+ selections are still there, though.

Yes just deactivate those. 2-day tickets. They will remain linked to your account but will not be used. You can reactivate them whenever you'd like. There is no need to have Disney remove them as another poster suggested.

We check in November 1st. October 1st was our last day to customize. I just got an email this morning that magic bands will be on my doorstep by 10:30 a.m.

Another Nov 1 arrival here. We too got our invite yesterday - after it was too late to customize. Part of why the comments from CMs about being invited make no sense!

On the bright side, my customized bands just arrived moments ago!,,

Haha us too. My husband didn't understand why I cracked up laughing when we got the invite in the mail. I had to explain the whole fiasco to him about CMs yelling at people to wait for their invites, and yet if people did that, they'd end up with un-customized gray bands! Our invite arrived yesterday and our bands arrived this morning! Thank goodness for the DISboards!

I finally got my tickets from Airmiles yesterday and was able to link them to MDE and get my FP+.

I only have a 7 day ticket (the most AM has) but I am at WDW for 10 days.

I have already made 7 days of FP+, but changed my mind on one of the day.

I have been trying to cancel the FP+, I see the option at the bottom of the page (with the select/replace, change, copy & cancel), but the cancel says that I am not eligible to cancel my FP+.

Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions? :confused3

Nov. 1st check in here too. We customized our bands last week, received the invite in the mail yesterday, and received our bands today.:confused3 We got the bands, that's all that counts..:cool1::cool1:

I'll have to ask. As soon as I know the answer, I'll report back.

So, I have two friends going down together. One was there first, and they were staying on property for part of their stay and then moving offsite. The other was going down and staying with her offsite. So it looks like because she was onsite she was able to get MB/FP+ for both of them.

My Personalize MagicBands menu item became Manage MagicBands again when my personalization timeframe ended. If you already personalized them, I wouldn't worry. What does it say when you click the Manage option?

Mine never said Personalize, it has always said Manage. But I'm still able to personalize, so maybe they're changing things on the website.

EDIT: Nevermind. I don't actually click on the MDE at the top of the page. I mouse over it and then click on MagicBands and Cards. But it still does say Personalize if I go into MDE.

So sorry for those of you also having MB's disappear from your accounts. I'll keep you all updated if I hear back from IT.

Mine disappeared today as well. I did pay off my balance and re-did the online check-in, as I had to change something. I don't know if they were there before I did all that. I logged into my dad's and sister's accounts and they still have them. All my FP+ selections are still there.
