Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

We check in November 1st. October 1st was our last day to customize. I just got an email this morning that magic bands will be on my doorstep by 10:30 a.m.

Me too! Me too! (Well, got an Email saying they shipped today anyway)! Woot woot!!

Ditto! I can't wait to get home to see them in person!

Just checked my tracking #! Will arrive by 10:30 today toooooo!!!!

Another Nov 1 arrival here. We too got our invite yesterday - after it was too late to customize. Part of why the comments from CMs about being invited make no sense!

Haha us too. My husband didn't understand why I cracked up laughing when we got the invite in the mail. I had to explain the whole fiasco to him about CMs yelling at people to wait for their invites, and yet if people did that, they'd end up with un-customized gray bands! Our invite arrived yesterday and our bands arrived this morning! Thank goodness for the DISboards!

EXACTLY! Was excited to see MDE said my order was processing yesterday! Checked my email this morning; the shipping notice came in at 2am, and MBs were delivered at 930am!! And I have to wait at work all day before I can get home and play with them!

I also received the 'invite' in the mail last night. Poor timing for the uninformed!

31 Days out today arrive November 3rd . just got my invitation for MyMagic+ testing , just got finished customizing ,and setting up my fast passes.

Mine disappeared today as well. I did pay off my balance and re-did the online check-in, as I had to change something. I don't know if they were there before I did all that. I logged into my dad's and sister's accounts and they still have them. All my FP+ selections are still there.

Checking in 11/29 - my MBs are now gone. So disappointed - after being so excited - having customized MBs and made all my FP+ reservations.

Just talked to IT. They said FP+ is still in testing through November (I know - call again in 5 minutes and get a different answer) and to wait for another e-mail to be invited for the testing. Like I ever received an e-mail or waited for an invite in the first place.

It's just so frustrating to have spent all the time coordinating the trip around the FP+ reservations and they may be worthless if we don't actually get MBs.

On the call I was told I should get my e-mail at 28 days out (if I get invited to test). That's just great since the customization window closes at 30 days out!

Yep... After other DISers were saying they had disappearing BM's I have been checking all day. I had them until just a few minutes ago. I tried to do the online check in and got to the end when it told me they couldn't compete my request right then. When I got back to the MDE home page my MB's were gone. Back to "Manage MagicBands"... My FP+'s are still there... I don't dare touch them!

I hope we all get them back!

Because if I were not a member of DISboards, I would have received by letter, and thought I had until October 22 to set up my account and select my MBs. Perhaps if I had not been all over MDE these last few weeks, or went ahead and customized my MBs, the MBs would now be open to me until Oct. 22. I am 29 days out right now. Can you imagine how many calls the CM would be getting if someone found out about this from the letter and was not able to customize? That's a lot of pixie dust to sprinkle around to make up for the late notification.

I would be everyone who has lost their MB customization potential will get it back 28 days before their check in, if not sooner. I'm hoping for you, anyway!

FWIW, I am 38 days out. I did online check-in last week, customized magicbands and made FP+ picks. My bands are still there and say they ship in 9 days. We have a split stay, and we are getting bands for both hotels, ASMu and POP.

ETA: I have not received an invitation.

Thank you for telling me, and I sure will try again.
Right after it said they could not complete my request the first time I tried to check in on line, I tried to check in again. Same message (can't complete your request). Now when I go in, it won't let me attempt to check in on line at all. But, I will keep trying! I am hoping they are just having a bug in the system and it will work out.

I'm still hopeful! I'm so glad to know you went through the same thing and it worked out!!

Hopefully it's just a bug? I wasn't able to do bands or FP+ earlier than my 60 days out, but I just checked and our bands are still there (customizable until Halloween, although why I need that long I don't know) and all my FP+ are there in the "My Reservations" area- although if I look at the My FastPass+ area December 5 is gone....

I printed it out because I'm paranoid...

"For several weeks now, MagicBands have been distributed to guests at select Disney resort hotels so they could test out all of the exciting facets of the MyMagic+ system. Well, the final roll-out dates have been announced for the remaining resort hotels and we now know when Disney plans to take the system out of the testing phase and finally introduce the world to a new way to experience a Walt disney World vacation…

Currently, you can only get MagicBands if you are staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort & Bay Lake Tower, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jambo House Villas, and Kidani Village, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Resort & Villas, Disney’s Polynesian Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside & French Quarter, Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Testing begins at All-Star Sports, Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, the Boardwalk Villas, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort on October 7th. October 14th brings All-Star Music, Disney’s Coronado Springs, Old Key West, Wilderness Lodge, and the Villas at Wilderness Lodge online. Finally, Disney’s Fort Wilderness and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa will be the last to begin testing on October 21st.

Resort guests should either receive a mailed invitation or be able to add MagicBands to their reservation through DisneyWorld.com. You will only be invited if you have a room and ticket package at the very least, to the best of our knowledge.

All testing is set to conclude on November 30th, meaning that December 1st, 2013 is set as the hard roll-out date for MyMagic+ for all Disney resort guests. Annual passholders and non-Disney resort guests will continue to use hard tickets until further notice and it remains unclear if those not staying at Disney hotels will ever get one."

Yes just deactivate those. 2-day tickets. They will remain linked to your account but will not be used. You can reactivate them whenever you'd like. There is no need to have Disney remove them as another poster suggested.

Anyone get the bonus 4th FP+ selection for MK at all? Some people said today they "got POTC" but I wasn't sure if they just meant that they could book POTC as a FP+ selection as of today, or if they received the bonus 4th selection as discussed from prior testing. Thanks!

For sure! Far, far away! I'm not messing with anything. I only have one more ADR to adjust the time (since I got a BOG lunch FP+ that day) and all my plans will be just the way I want them!
