My kids are picky eaters and won't do ethnic foods - are there any good counter eateries for lunch?

The Sunshine Season Food Fair in the Land Pavilion is a food-court type set up with counters serving a wide variety of "normal" food - sandwiches, salads, fruit, etc. Electric Umbrella has burgers, pizza, and sandwiches. If they'll eat fish, the counter service in United Kingdom is very good. And if they eat tacos, my guys really liked the ones at the counter service in Mexico. Liberty Inn in America has burgers and chicken strips, although they're not as good as some of the other places, IMHO.

Hope that helps!

This was what I was going to suggest...it's our favorite counter service in all of WDW. Lots of variety and everything we've tried has been good.::yes::

I'd like to put another vote in for the Electric Umbrella. Very yummy breakfast for a price that is just right!

I want to change my request to any good counter service that is AIR CONDITIONED!!! Since we are visiting WDW in August - thanks.

Yep, you'll be fine at The Land in Sunshine Season. It's inside, and air conditioned. Very nice spot. Big and open and actually quite pretty.

Just alittle bit of input on the Land Food Court..... Have some one in your party grab a table before you que up to the serving lines. The tables always seem crowded and there's nothing worse than holding a tray of food, having hungry kids and NOT having a place to sit down to eat!! The food selection there is GREAT!! Something for everyone!! Enjoy!

My kids are picky eaters too. One place they really love is Yakitori House in Japan. They got the kids yakitori chicken meal. It had grilled chicken chunks on a skewer and plain white rice. They didn't think the chicken had any "funny flavor" to it. I thought it was supposed to be terriyaki, but it tasted like plain grilled chicken to me. I thought this was a nice break from chicken strips and fries. The girls even asked if they could go back and get a second skewer of chicken!! They were able to get a single skewer for about $1.50.

My little DD likes to gets chips and cheese sauce from the Mexican pavilion. This is like Tostitos chips and cheese sauce you buy in the jar! My older DD likes the churros there.

If you get desperate, there is a kiosk place that has some McDonalds by Canada.
