Any females not take a bag at all??

Count our whole family as bag free!! We are another cargo pants/shorts family. Traversing the park is much easier, and we never leave something behind by accident.

I have always taken a very small travel bag that criss crosses across the front...but I never thought about cargo shorts...hmmm...
Where is the best place to buy them for women? :confused3

WalMart, target, I like to get the kind that zip off for shorts, as its nice to have the long pants too.

Sporting goods stores have them too, sometimes a little higher price, but probably wider selection.

I didn't carry anything except my phone with me. My husband had his wallet and he kept all four of ourtickets/ room keys in there (also the way we purchased our food) plus any speding money for other things. Of course my kids were 6&8 at the time of our trip so I didn't need to worry about bringing any extras along for them like when they were younger. Although I will admit I did miss having my chapstick with me, LOL! ;)

I even found a chapstick on a carabiner!

I wear long cargos as well, put the phone (inside a ziplock) in one leg pocket, a rain poncho from the dollar store into the other. CC and KTTW cards on a lanyard. That leaves the other 4 pockets spare!

I do not buy souvenirs much! If I do, they can be sent to the resort if staying on-site.

No bag for me just wear cargo (men) shorts can keep everything in the pockets money, key phone camera and rain poncho bandaid and aspirin/advil. This is the only way to go don't have to worry about losing anything

What about water bottles? I have a lanyard (PotC that I bought at DL the last time we went) that I use to carry passes, my DL, bus tickets, etc. We do plan to bring some small snacks into the park (granola bar type) for the kids, but I was wondering about water? Do most people just use the fountains? I don't want to be buying water bottles there, as it is very expensive. We were thinking of bringing one each from our room and then re-filling as needed.

You can bring in an individual water bottle, correct? Do people just carry them in their hands all day, if they aren't carrying a bag?

DH will carry his camera bag, but we wouldn't want to put water in there.

There are bottle straps where you can wear them. Or a bottle will fit in my DH's cargo shorts pocket. Mostly we just get ice water from counter service restaurants as needed, though.

I have been know to go bagless from time to time. My camera is too bulky for pocket, plus I don't like hand carrying the autograph book. It will inevitably be left somewhere if I don't have a bag. But for the times we don't need the autograph book, I will go without the bulky camera so I can ditch the bag. I'll put my room key, ap and id in plastic sleeve on a lanyard, and phone and chapstick go in a pocket.

Another option is to wear a cargo type vest especially if you have lots of odds and ends and don't mind looking dorky. Those with bigger cameras sometimes wear these.

I have tried cargo shorts and pants but I hate the weight of filled pockets against my legs and sometimes the pants felt dragged down a bit. I went back to small fanny packs or a backpack.

I have a dslr camera, so I must have a camera bag. But I don't carry a purse. I'm seriously thinking of buying a smaller camera that will fit in a pocket. I'd love to go completely bagless!

I personally hate the flavor of the tap/fountain water at WDW, so go with bottled. That is what typcially weighs down my backpack is having a couple of those in there. We are going for a quick 5 day trip this fall, and I'm seriously contemplating bagless...except for my camera. Here's hoping!

I am trying to find a way not to go through security. I was wondering if any ladies just do not take a purse. I am not a fanny pack sporter and that would still require security. Just picking brains here.

Go for it, I am a no bag convert. I bring chapstick or lipstick my key and some tissues. that's it. I do try to wear shorts with a few pockets.

I have a dslr with a great strap that goes across my chest so don't even take a camera bag.

Phone has a belt clip

I found woman's cargo shorts at Bass Pro Shops a few years ago and put my stuff in those pockets instead of carrying a bag. I loved it!

7 trips later those shorts are wearing out and they don't carry my size anymore. I don't know what I'm going to do. Probably carry my small baggalini. Sigh.

Those were really great for Universal so I didn't have to mess with the annoying lockers.

I don't take a bag. DH takes his camera bag, but it usually ends up in a locker. If the boys want anything (water, sunglasses, etc), they have to carry it themselves.

No bag for me. I put lipstick, cash and credit card in a pocket, put a disposable poncho in the back pocket and off we go. DH carries a small camera and that is it. :thumbsup2

When we go, it is just my husband and I (no kids). He always carries a backpack when we are in the parks, so I just throw my wallet and cell phone in one of the pockets and then I don't have to worry about carrying a purse. It is nice not having to go through the bag check lines (he has to, but he is pretty good at "the drill" of opening all of the zippers, etc).
