Okay.....just booked Poly on Sat. for 4 nights in Nov. I didn't pay attention to the monorail update until today. It is a resort only stay for my husband and myself. We are celebrating our 32 anniversary early. (Dec. is our anniversary) We have never stayed dvc at the Poly but have stayed there a couple of times years ago. Would love to see the Christmas decor at the GF and CR while staying at Poly. Even though the gingerbread house won't be there this year. This is one of the reasons for booking here too.

We are using 72 points for Poly. SO..... would you keep this ressie even with the construction and lack of monorail or switch it?? It is a lot of points for not getting the full experience.

Our other choices are SSR standard 48 points or preferred 60. OR Jambo House standard 48 points. We have stayed at Kidani twice before, but not Jambo. However nothing is open right now there as far a food goes. I guess that could change before Nov. 9th.

We would be close to Disney Springs if we stayed at SSR and of course save points. Decisions decisions. TIA!!!!

I would still stay at Poly because it is such a nice walk over to GF and gives you two resorts in one,

SSR of course gives you DS, but the MK resorts that time of year just seem magical to me.

And from the DVC villas the walk to the TTC to catch the monorail is just about the same distance as the walk to the GCH station. You'll still have access to the monorail - you just have to walk the opposite direction to get there.

Jambo is my favorite of the ones you listed. Keeping my fingers crossed it'll open by November!

AKL will not be open this year at all. I'd probably still stay at the Poly if I were you. The monorail isn't far away and it will be quiet. If its about points, book SS.
Happy Anniversary
